no, I guess I could get inside the car start it up, find out the tire pressure is low then get back outside the car and fill up the tires. It’s just more convenient to have the information outside the car… Like it used to be.Do you really need your cars tire info on your phone?
You paid for it. Why not use it.no, I guess I could get inside the car start it up, find out the tire pressure is low then get back outside the car and fill up the tires. It’s just more convenient to have the information outside the car… Like it used to be.
The sensors only update once the car is MOVING. So you should not use them to fill your tires. You need to purchase and use a separate digital tire gauge to fill your tires.no, I guess I could get inside the car start it up, find out the tire pressure is low then get back outside the car and fill up the tires. Bingo. If it refreshed, it should be the same numbers...You don't understand how tire pressure sensors work. The sensors only update while the car is MOVING. So you cannot use them to fill your tires. You need to purchase and use a separate digital tire gauge to fill your tires.
I do know how tire pressure sensors work. I filled up the tires in my garage to spec. Went for a 20 minute drive. Came back and the app registered the same amount it did before I filled the tires up.You don't understand how tire pressure sensors work. The sensors only update while the car is MOVING. The data in the app is from the last time the car was driven. If you get a flat, it won't show up until you start the car.
I feel kind of stupid because I can't find tire pressure in the new app. Does PAAK now need to be set up before tire pressure becomes available? I haven't ever set up PAAK but in the old app the tire pressure was easy to find. Until I read your message I thought they'd removed it from the new app.anyone else notice the new FordPass app does not seem to update proper tire pressure info? Even when I pull down on the screen, it doesn’t seem to refresh.

Hmm, I leave my car on when I fill my tires at Costco. It definitely updates a few seconds after for each tire. One tire may straggle and need me to drive, but the others do update pretty quickly without needing to be moving. You don't understand how tire pressure sensors work. The data in the app is from the last time the car was driven. If you get a flat while parked, it won't show up until you start the car. There is no way around that.
