I don't get "tagged" by the insurance app if I'm Bluetooth on phone calls.
I can even monitor emails/texts in Sync. As well as use Android Auto.

I only get tagged for "phone use" if I pick the phone up and unlock it.

So that's all they are wanting to know from me regarding the phone. Am I looking at it and navigating it's interfere.

Anything hands-free is unscored.

If there is regen with both one pedal and two pedal then how are you able to knock the rust off the rotors with two pedal? I always brake very slowly when using two pedal but use two pedal when I want to clean the rotors. I love one pedal.

Is there better miles per kwh with either option?
Again, there is no difference in regen and friction brake usage in any mode. It’s determined by how quickly you slow down. For the same reason there is no difference in efficiency. It’s based on how you drive, not the mode.

Only way to force the car to use friction brakes only is to put it in neutral. I do that when I want to clean the surface rust off the rotors.

Thank You very much for this information ! Very helpful ,and because the "Owners Manual" is software on the center consol ,it takes quite a bit of time to page thru things. I prefer paper copy , but Ford in their wisdom choose to load it in the center screen [ a money saving , profit thing , I guess]And I don't like sitting in vehicle for long periods of time leafing through it ! -

I’ve been driving two days now in the engage mode because I like seeing the brake coach pop up in the corner when I slow down, and to tell you the truth, I actually think I’m getting better performance and better economy then in my whisper mode, I’m usually in.

I drive in Whisper mode , My buddy , who has identicle car , except for colour drives in Engaged , because he likes to know and see regen. And he switches between 1 and 2 pedal mode at his discretion ,but when we cruise together to same location , the range and km s are the same .Now I will check to make sure regen braking thingy shows on instument cluster as stated earlyer. And I am talking of distances of 20 t0 80 Kms [ results are the same - to within 1 km [ kilometer, being in Canada]just he has the display and I don't recall seeing one on my display.[between us , he says the same thing as[] Jerrytball] and 1 pedal braking.........so I conclude - a mater of preference and personal liking......

Owners Manuals have grown in size as vehicles have gained complexity and lawyers are necessary to provide disclaimers for almost every one of those new features.

Chopping down the trees for 750 page manuals for 1/2 million F150's annually is a waste of paper and glove box space.

The PDF version makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

Yeah, I guess I’m actually liking the engaged mode better and today let me tell you with about 20 mile an hour wind and rain coming down so hard. The windshield wipers didn’t even make a difference. That was something I found today new on this car. I didn’t even have to use the windshield wipers doing 70 miles an hour because I have the Michelin cross climate tires. I can’t even tell I’m driving and wet weather. I mean the only reason I turned my wipers on so my headlights would come on lol cause I have automatic headlights.

Eh? No wipers because tires? I don't follow.
Sorry, Phil doing 70 very heavy downpour the way the windshield is sloped. I didn’t need the windshield wipers. Second part was the Michelin cross climate tires handle all that rain that was on the road like an inch half inch can’t even tell the roads are wet sorry.

After reading quite a few posts in this thread, I may test 1PD this week.

When I first got my car (GTPE), back in Aug 2023, I tried it once, only for a few minutes, and haven't tried again since...

Every Mustang in the last 14 years I’ve owned, which is about six I think. Anyways, they’ve all been manual transmission so you can imagine the first time when I got this car not having to push two pedals in lol I love the one pedal now I can’t, go back ! Three pedals!

Well, here’s the thing about the message is it’s totally hands-free. I never look at my phone. It just comes right through Apple play so all I’m doing is looking straight ahead and talking after I press the button button on the steering wheel.

I hate that I get discounted well not discounted that I get tagged for making a phone call when somebody calls me. It’s not like I can help it. I’ll tell them I’ll call them right back and I use my wife’s phone lol
and this has "WHAT to do with 1 or 2 pedal driving/stoping ??????
