I think mine is on the same train, 12/31 ship date. The Kansas City Southern de Mexico website indicates a 9-10 day trip to Kansas City.

Looked like that timing included loading, unloading, customs, etc. Probably have to change locomotives/crew at the border. Total end-to-end scheduling rather than just the distance traveled.

Well, my FE with a December 13th build week was finally completed. FordTracker updated with a 01/05/20 Production Date. My guess is that it was completed yesterday since it was stuck in the Trim Line as of the 23rd of December when they left for holiday break.

I currently show an Estimated Delivery of March 1st. 55 days to ship/transit to Virginia. Here's to hoping that's extremely generous timing on their end....

Atleast its built now. I am pretty sure your car will get to you much sooner than that.

? ? You lost me at "Your Dealer" ??. In all seriousness, IF I can get a hold of him, I'll certainly ask about the train data. I'm quite certain he'll claim he doesn't know, but we'll see. I agree, if our cars left Mexico on 12/31, they should be in KC any minute now.

I am sure you know this, but not everyone at the dealer will know about the tracking system or even have access to it. You need to ask for the Inventory Manager or whatever that position is called at your dealer. When you get to that person.....then ask them to look in Vehicle Visibility and get a Full History report for you. They can export it to a text file or just give you a screen shot.

For example....
I have 2 MMEs on order with my dealership. One is my regular online order and the other is an FE offered the week prior to the Mach Drop.

I also have 5 pickup trucks on order from the Fleet Department at the same dealership. 3 have been delivered and the other two are going somewhere else. Point is, the person I am working at for the fleet stuff doesn't interface with the guy I am working with for the Mach E. In fact, they don't even know each other. Same dealer, different departments.

So, depending on who you talk to....your results will vary. Find the right guy and you might get some better info.

Update this am. Yesterday the site had 37 days and estimated dealer delivery of 2/3-2/9

My dealer sent me an email with a snippet from his system that shows a build date of 1/7/2021 (yay!). However, the tracking system used on this forum shows no production date. Who am I to believe?

Believe both.
The dealer's system shows your car is scheduled to be completed on 1/7/21.
Today is 1/5/21.
The tracking system on this forum will update the production date once the car is built. Since that hasn't happened yet.....it should be blank.

I am trying to find out what that number means. I suspect it has something to do with the accounting. Once these vehicles leave the factory they change ownership....maybe a couple of times. That number might be used to calculate invoice aging or interest or something to that effect.
