Maybe my question is stupid, but if your battery dies, and your inside the car, or the battery doesn’t die don’t use the same latch to get out of the car every day. I don’t know any other way to get out of the car.??
Yes, same latch.

The one that is scraped from PTS/Oasis. (PDF format)
It will even include your VIN ownership/Oasis information, including extended warranty, if you purchased Ford's.

But I admit that the Mach-E isn't as explanatory about a lot of things, as the truck's is.
thanks

I do generally agree that I don't like 'video answers' or posts where there is nothing of substance written, just a link to a video.

I like the forum because it consists of written words - sometimes I'm just scrolling in between things at work, or in a line at a grocery store, or just winding down for bed, and in these cases, I really don't want a 'video answer', and will usually just skip over that response.
The main reason why I don't care for a video answer posted to YouTube is because I go to watch the video and before I even realize it 4 hours have passed and I'm watching videos on how to make sausage gravy for the cast-iron charcoal grilled biscuit video I had watched about an hour earlier...

On that note if anyone is looking for a great sausage gravy for your cast-iron charcoal grill biscuits PM me and I'll send you the link.

Everytime a huge safety concern everyone panics. Watched video of woman "trapped" in car with dead battery. The trick was pull up unlock knob that used to be there. Trick with dead 12v inside car. Pull handle. Pretty scary. That DOES NOT work with child locks. So being trapped is ok as long as driver selected it.

NBC ran a story this morning that you could be locked in if the 12V dies. Tesla apparently has a door release that will open the door if battery fails and you are locked in. Story was related to excessive heat. Does Mache have a release somewhere?
Tesla's indoor release is similar to the Mach-e and very obvious. I had to be told to use the electric push button because it lowers the window first avoiding damage after multiple uses. I cannot imagine how anyone could not know how to get out of a Tesla, or a Mach-e, 12v power or not.

I did too. But guess after you learn how to push a button, do remember how to use for handle?

Wait, is there an E-latch inside the door? I always use the latch in the armrest; it's always been analog. Am I missing something?

I don't understand why everything is answered with videos these days. I guess "pull the door handle a couple times" was too much to type?
Would you prefer RTFM?

Both electronic and mechanical release is integrated into the same handle. If you pull the handle slowly, you'll notice the electronic latch releases in the beginning of travel, but you can still pull the handle a lot further (last part of travel is mechanical release). If you pull the handle quickly, you'll feel the mechanical latch pop before the electronic can do it.

Also if you compare the pull on the rear doors, you'll notice it's much less because the rear doors are electronic release only.

Well, that’s good to know. Quick everyone, out the driver seat NOW!
