Complimentary charging for 250 kilowatt-hours on new purchase at EA no longer active?

Was that an answer to a specific question? It seems like that would be their response to nearly anything at all. :D
I have not used my entitlement how do I see my remaining balance and does it expire. Will not expire and they do not currently have the capability to see the balance because of the updated 5.0 Ford Pass

Yes, they do expire. 3 years after purchase.

I was told at my dealership I would receive 250 kilowatt-hours of free charging at Electrify America through the FordPass app but never received those credits. I got my Mach E earlier this month and I called FordPass support who said that benefit is no longer active. Has anybody else who have recently gotten a new Mach E seen the same thing? Trying to determine if FordPass support is wrong or if my dealership was wrong.

I bought mine on June 8, 2024 and it was not available at that time.

Complimentary Charging on Electrify America still exist.

As with many customer service issues at Ford fining the answer requires multiple calls to find the right "team" to help you discover the answer to the question, "Why isn't this information made available to the customer when they login to their Ford Pass Account?!?!?!?"

Here my fellow forum members is the skinny as I eventually was able to discover after 5-6 phone calls over a 7 day period:

1. The dealer does you a favor if they explain the importance of enrolling in Ford Pass and proceeding to enroll in the wide range of connected services therein. Our sales rep, Chad Woodard, did this at our dealership! Thanks Chad.

2. After enrolling in Ford Pass, go to "Connected Services". At any time you can also use the website, Ford.com/connectedservices to go directly to that section. Login using you username/PW. Once you’re logged in, manage each separate program. To receive the 250kWh of complimentary charging at Electrify America you must first enroll in the BlueOval Charge Network. Once enrolled there, you must manage your account by entering a credit card. Then you will see you have received 250 kWh charging complimentary of Ford. And once those kWh are used (5-6 charge sessions) further charging will automatically appear on your CC statement. I learned the above thanks to a wonderfully kind and effective Arnetia (?sic), the agent at Ford Pass Account Customer Service, who also elevated the case for our still missing 22000 Ford Pass Reward Points.

Hope that The Pickle, and any other forum member finds their complimentary charging.

Peace/Out

I’m not sure it was much of a benefit, though. I received the 250kW and it was only about 3-½ charges. Whereas Hyundai is giving their new EV drivers 3 YEARS of free charging, among a lot other EV companies.

Also, it's Electrify America. Do you really want to use them anymore now that we can charge at a lot of Tesla Superchargers with an adapter? I went to the EA in Tucson to use my balance where I had success before. First open stall didn't even start a session. Second stall tripped the "charging station fault" of my car. I rolled into a SC, but still had the fault. Decided to risk it an drive home even though the guess-o-meter said I would have 5 miles left. I drafted every semi I could find on the way home and and 15miles left. Little did I realize that fault will only go away after you turn the car off for 5-10 minutes.

I just tried a SC at home to ensure it wasn't my car and sure enough, it was plug and play to start charging.

That long story to basically say I'm done with EA. I'll probably let my remaining balance expire before I go through that again.
