Well, I've already contacted the dealer and requested a courtesy software update. There is no way I would have taken delivery had I known the software was not fully up to date. If I had to stand over their heads until 2am, I would have done it if that's what it took. I work in Cybersecurity for #$%&s sake. You cannot trust your car or the dealer to know if your vehicle is up to date or not. You can only trust total and complete strangers on the internet. Your car is on Sync 22326 which is 3 versions behind the latest. Modules with pending updates are below. This list does not show several APIM, GWM, TCU and at least one IPC update you would need to be fully up to date.
Before you ask: No, the dealer won't do them. Ford does not pay them labor hours to update modules just because they are not up to date. They will only apply updates to modules due to a recall or to fix an issue with the car that a module update will fix.
Welcome to new vehicle ownership. This is not a Ford thing; same applies to all brands.
