Tesla Adapter where are you.

The highest order number that I saw mentioned (that shipped) was just a little above 6500 -- I don't think they made it to 6600 (except for the batch that shipped out of order).

I'm in the high 14,000's ... but when they can actually get their hands on inventory they seem to ship them out pretty quickly.

It's not killing me that I don't have an adapter because I bought the A2Z back in early March for a 3000 mile road trip that I did in April ... and it worked great! (thank you, A2Z!)

Pure conjecture that the Tesla adapter manufacturing capacity is/was influenced by Tesla Supercharger staff.

Or put another way, if those that were let go were NOT ever let go, nobody can say with certainty how many more of these adapters would have been shipped at this point because those folks obviously didn't manufacture the ones that are already being used by members.

No doubt that overly optimistic projections are epidemic in our current culture. Disappointing, but not surprising.

No communication and plenty of delays. Seems to me they’re handling Canada the same way they handle everything lol.

I ordered the adapter on 2/29. Got confirmation that order received and adapter will ship by June 2024. No further word, so I called the Ford parts number and got a very friendly rep who couldn't provide any additional information. She said that whatever I had was the same info that she had. Don't you think that internally Ford people would have some additional visibility?

I'll bet that:

1. The confirmation listed June as an ESTIMATED shipping date
2. If you go to that page now it probably lists a July estimated shipping date

Ford doesn't know. Ford is estimating shipment MONTH based on data/promises from Tesla. Ford changed June ship months to July after July had already started. They have only shipped around 7,000 so far, and that's behind projections by a bit.
