With Tesla taking over the charging game, you would think Electrify America would step up. There are too many gaps throughout major routes in PA without chargers. Drove from Philly to Western PA last night, glad it‘s warm out so I have good range.

You took the turnpike and it pales to what I 80 is going to look like in several months.

Meanwhile here in Minnesota.....we are a true wasteland. There is one station even near the Twin Cities and only on the St Paul side.

Tesla is better but not great here either.

We have a GTPE and a 2023 model y AWD long range 318 miles with 20 rims. Use it for trips because it gets 300 miles at 65 mph and superchargers are always in range.

I assume you have some good knowledge about why Vermont lags so far behind. I find it interesting that they crow about one of the highest per capita amount of charging stations. Yes, I understand that if the denominator is smaller the answer is bigger...

Yup, they get away with being on the top of a lot of lists when using the “per capita“ disclaimer.

New Hampshire 93 corridor is a desert in Northern part of the State as well.

PA is doing pretty good with DCFC chargers above 100Kw. Definitely be nicer when can use the Tesla Superchargers too.

If you're serious about understanding this, I suggest you read two things. First, go read EA's plans. They lay out exactly what they're doing in each phase.

Second, go read your state's plan for using the federal money. They've laid out exactly what they're doing, where they're doing it, and when they're doing it.

Green Bay Wisconsin has an EA site that is completed for nearly two months but has not been opened up yet. Ghee, what is the problem?

It's 60-40 EVgo within 10 miles of my front door. EVgo is closest at 3.1 miles away and easiest to get to...Electrify America is five miles away.

The real test begins when you're in the wild and in need of a level 3 charge. EVgo has come to the rescue twice.

To be continued...

My local city park department received the donation of several level 2 chargers from the local Chevrolet dealer. Thanks to a GM program. The units are from Flo. The units are installed, but not yet open to for use. The park department complains that they cannot get internet service to the units so they can charge for charging.
How difficult is it to bury an internet fiber optic cable? Would installing one alongside an electrical cable result in interference?
Also, they did not bother to install "EV charging only" signs. I have complained to the park department after seeing ICE vehicles parked in the charger spots at one of the busier parks.

Northern New England is abhorrent when it comes to DCFC (NH here). I don't know how all the BEV tourists from NY, CT and MA charge. Overnight at hotels I guess.

Ironically, @generaltso , when up near Littleton, NH, I charge at the Ford dealership in St. Johnsbury, VT. Never anyone there and usable speed (~72 kW).
