I check this morning and see my date has moved forward from 2/7 to 1/25. If it makes 1/17 will be nice.Looks like most of California is getting their MMEs around the same time...
Hi Dave,Could you possibly check on my VIN 3FMTK3SU1MMA10687 ? My scheduled build day was Monday but my dealer has not given me any status this week. I am hoping it has made it beyond sent to plant now.
Thank you, I understand that, but the person that I replied to seemed to have access to see secondary status and my dealer tells me that he can't see the secondary status. I will email the GM and ask him. The primary status will be "in production" from "sent to plant" until it is shipped.Hi Dave,
Go here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/pages/tracker/
Enter your VIN and it'll give you the "Primary Status" near the bottom of the table.
Your VIN's "Primary Status" says you are "In Production". That means your car is ON the assembly line somewhere (congratulations!)
There is a "Secondary Status" that we can't see in the tracking tool. Your dealer can see the secondary status (you can call them to ask). It would indicate if your car is in the "Body Shop" (meaning the shell of your car is being assembled and painted). After Body Shop it will go to "Trim Line" this is where the chassis is built and the married to the body and becomes a full car. After Trim Line it would get "Produced" (meaning your car is complete).
Your car isn't produced yet because if it were you would see a "Production Date" listed in the table ... and that field is empty. That date gets added once the car is FINISHED.
Just by way of comparison ... my car had a Build "week" of 12/6 with an assigned build "day" of 12/7. But in reality my car was not *actually* built (finished) until 12/16 (9 days later than expected).
Watching the timing I've started to wonder if the assigned build week and day are for final production or initial production. However, I think we've just seen production slip off schedule a bit. November customer cars were produced (finished) about on the build day. By mid-December they were in Body Shop about on the build day.Hi Dave,

Today my ETA went from 2/8 to 1/25. Seems like a lot of the CA deliveries will occur around then. Different dealers are likely to have slightly different dates.I check this morning and see my date has moved forward from 2/7 to 1/25. If it makes 1/17 will be nice.
I was wondering the same. It seems that the build week/date were supposed to be for the final step/finished date at least according to my dealer. But with all the slippage, we are now seeing that date to mean start of production rather than the end of production.Watching the timing I've started to wonder if the assigned build week and day are for final production or initial production. However, I think we've just seen production slip off schedule a bit. November customer cars were produced (finished) about on the build day. My dealer was able to see the secondary status. There is typically a person at the dealer who orders and manages the inventory. It may be that your particular salesperson is not familiar the process, but the dealer inventory manager is.Thank you, I understand that, but the person that I replied to seemed to have access to see secondary status and my dealer tells me that he can't see the secondary status. Mine was moved sooner, originally estimated at 2/1/21-2/7/21 and now Estimated Delivery 1/18/2021 - 1/24/2021. There is hope that not all shipments are delayed. And just got an updated email from Ford saying the delivery estimate has been updated from 1/5-1/11 to 1/29-2/4.
Knew it was too good to be true.
