So this is indicating a pause in OTAs to certain '23-'24 models, then? I'm not sure what "FSA" is referring to... (Not that I think a pause isn't in order...)
Field Service Action.

My original post could have probably used some context.

FSAs are Field Service Actions that would be taken by techs to apply updates or perform other actions (SSMs, TSBs, CSPs, etc.).

So they're acknowledging there's a problem and providing the bare bones that engineers are working a solution, but at the same time they don't want any techs doing any updates under that laundry list of FSAs.

And for the first time in print that I've seen, they actually said it was because of an OTA.

But if people are still getting OTAs on '23 and '24 models then I would imagine they know which one it is that's at fault, and hopefully aren't still sending that one out.

I am encouraged by the fact that it was an OTA that caused this. I've only gotten one in the last 60 days because I do most of my updates with FDRS.

And as has already been mentioned, they never actually said whether or not proactively and preemptively disconnecting your 12V battery for 10 minutes will clear out whatever naughty data bits that are causing the cars to ignore their owners. But I did that the other day anyway. We'll see if I get locked out.

The OTA update that I "think" eventually bricked my car is: 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX
Let us all know if it happens to you again. I'm curious to know if it was a one-off.

Mike, is the pause limited to only the bulletins listed (23B50, 23C12, 23p09, etc)?
I have no reason to think otherwise.

A list of the bulletins, what they are/were, and what '23/'24's they applied to (at least as much info as I was able to find)

23B50: Charge Cord Stuck, SOBDM. built before Nov 23rd, 2022. Should already be applied to any vehicle in customer hands.

23C13: ??

23P08: Door Control Module update (false car alarms), (all 4 door control modules) 23 vehicles built before April 18th.

23U10: ??

24B06: ??

24P16: 12v battery test and remote climate control module (HVAC/RCCM) reset. This is documented to only resets a module (RCCM) but doesn't update it. (see: https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...hvac-module-12v-battery-test-and-reset.37250/) Applies to 23's from Jul 1 to Sept 5. I think it might be related to an HVAC module update...

24B17: DCFC, car thinks the charge port is heating too quickly. SOBDM. 2024's from Jan8 24 to Feb 7 24.

24U08: "In some of the affected vehicles, the charge status indicator (CSI) displays in RED (fault) for a short period after the charge plug is unlocked from the charge port during vehicle level 3 (L3) charging. All vehicles are charged correctly and no warning shows in the instrument cluster." for some 24 models.

If it is the Battery Optimization update, you might want to think twice.
I have that one already. Came over a week ago. Since then my 12V no longer hangs out in the 60something% range and instead is in the high 70's or low 80's when I check. I know that one is top of the list for being the problem but it was a risk/reward. I've been parking my car facing out since that update. Can't leave the windows down because it's outside.

The one today was about improving my sound quality. I didn't download it yet.

23C13, 23U10, 24B06 don't seem to exist in PTS.

24U08 is for some 24 models: "In some of the affected vehicles, the charge status indicator (CSI) displays in RED (fault) for a short period after the charge plug is unlocked from the charge port during vehicle level 3 (L3) charging. All vehicles are charged correctly and no warning shows in the instrument cluster."

Thank you - I updated my post above with the info on 24U08.
