Or maybe the reason that such low numbers are diverting to January is that they're shifting preference to new car buyers and no longer shipping in reservation order.

This is the 4th time its been pushed back for me, order #14820. Honestly, I don’t care when I get it anymore. January will be 11 months since the reservation. Nearly an entire year.

Not likely. Some of ya'll keep forgetting that Rivian, GM, Volvo/Polestar and Mercedes still have to get adapters. Not to mention the Kia group, which gains supercharger access in Jan 2025.
I would hate to hear that. I am happy to wait my turn, although it likely means sometime in 2026.
I didn't forget that. In fact, I mentioned it earlier in this thread. The fact that other automakers are also being shipped adapters doesn't explain why relatively low reservation numbers for reservations made months ago have been relegated to January 2025 while a very recent buyer of a Mach E who reserved his adapter just days ago is getting a November 2024 estimate. Unless that's a unique outlier, it implies that Ford is no longer going by reservation number alone, and other factors are influencing shipping estimates.
Yes, this could explain it. Perhaps the recent buyer's November estimate won't be adjusted until December 1st.
I feel like mine is so far out, they don't have a clue when mine will be shipped and just threw something in there.
The Canadian numbers can't be used to determine timelines, i.e. no one in Canada has been shipped. So a 14,XXX number in Canada not being shipped until January tells you nothing, in the US they got over 18,XXX already.
