I am trying to determine where to position my charger ahead of my 2025 order arriving, and was planning to position it towards the front of my garage so I can keep the Mach E outside, as I am concerned about the possible flammability of the car ;-) But then I started to wonder, perhaps that is so... 2021? What is the consensus here? Do folks park their Mach E in the garage?

So 2021?

I park my Mach-E and my Lightning in the garage. If you believe it's going to catch fire, you shouldn't have bought it.

I park and charge mine in my garage. My chargers are mounted on the wall near the front of the car. I park nose in on the right side of a 2 car garage and I drape the charge cable across the hood.

My 14-50 outlet and charger are a foot away from the breaker panel. When I back into the garage the charging port lines up perfectly. I don’t worry about it being in the garage all the time.

This should be the focus. The copper is very expensive. Keep the runs as short as possible.

Park and charge in the garage. Have one charger on each side of garage so I am able to park in either spot or charge two cars at once (several of my friends have EV's).

Absolutely every night.

Charged in there 533 times a total of 26,650kWh.

Here it is through the eyes of a thermal imaging camera plugged in, fully charged, warmed up and pre-conditioned ready to go on a 560-mile day trip as it’s just about to do tomorrow.

Can you see the heat trace of the charging lead?

I have parked our EV's in my garages since 2018, with professionally installed 14-50 outlets 50-Amp circuits running at 32 Amps. No problems.

We have 2 EVs that are parked in the garage.

My MME and the Mercedes Benz EQS 450 sedan.

The charger is located at the center of the back wall.

Not worried about them catching fire…

My Mach-e has been parked in the garage for nearly 4 years. The only nearly flammable events have been related to the owner and not the car. FWIW, my EVSE is on the left front side of the garage as you're facing it from the outside. The cable reaches just fine (parks nose in)

Get a proper 14-50R outlet if you insist upon a plug-in. The $9 specials will fail. Best bet is a hardwired EVSE. Tesla Universal and Emporia both have good reputations, as do many others.

Garage every night. I first had a leaf which I left outside all summer, so I positioned charger to reach in garage, or just outside.

As everyone else here has stated, parked in the garage since obtaining in early Feb 2021. Also parked in the garage is a 2019 plug in hybrid. Share a hard wired Level 2 charger.
Rick said it best - if you are worried about it catching fire, you shouldn't buy it.

I did not park my MME in the garage, I do not park my Tesla in the garage.
The possibility of a battery fire in an EV is very low, but it is not zero
My garage has fire sprinklers that would put out a fire if one of my ICE's catch fire.
The sprinklers will not put out an EV fire.
Don't listen to the ding-dongs on here that say if you are concerned about it, you shouldn't buy an EV. That is the logic of a 5 year old.

If you are concerned about it, do not park in the garage.

I have my charger next to my garage door and run the cable out the garage door, the door has a soft rubber seal on the bottom and does not affect the cable at all.
