1.4 > 1.3 > 1.0 ?
INCORRECT! That would lead to total protonic reversal!

The CORRECT formula is: 1.0 < 1.3 < 1.4 !

It's an entirely different thing, altogether.

If you have a 2021 Job 2 that has three same hardware as a 2022.

Congrats on another miss by Ford.

I read the whole thread, and if 1.3 allow lane change, I definitely not have it, however my dealer received my car in August, I got it on September. on the ford website and ford pass it's still referred as a 2023 Mach-e , but how to know if this is a job 1 or a job 2 as it sounds to be important... And more important , where do you see the BC version running ? since it does not change lane, I know I don't have it, but is it 1? 1.1? 1.2?

Your MME never had BC 1.0. It came with 1.2 from the factory. Check in settings for possibly Lane Assist.

This thread is about the 2021 failures of Ford.

Early Job 1 2021 vehicle is still on BC 1.0. Not positive any JOb 1 owners have received BC 1.3
Yes it has, at least for EAP members.

I should be giving it a big test mid-week. I’m going down to the IONNA event on Apex, NC. It looks like Kyle, Tom, and Dominick will all be there. Tom may be rubbing his pizza oven off his Lightning. Of course, I’ll be checking out the new charging too.
The Jane and Joe Sixpacks of this forum who are not in EA will expect some type of report of this event/meeting.

My first test was a mixed bag. Weather was misty and with light rain from time to time. The sun had set and it was getting darker as I tested. Under these conditions BC 1.3 didn't stay engaged as well as BC 1.4 does but is far better than BC 1.0. I also found it switch to hands-on for periods that I knew were Blue Zones. Reengagement of hands-free was often slow.

BC 1.3 worked much better on my next and longer test. Conditions were dry, about 300 miles Wednesday ending in the dark and again 300 miles Thursday ending in the dark. BC 1.3 stayed engaged well. Reengagement was quick after I intervened for quick passing, speeds above 80 mph, or other situations.

I found BC 1.3 did a good job of scootching over for large or close vehicles beside me.

Assisted lane changes (using only the turn signal) executed well. I felt very comfortable with the BC 1.3 driving, much more so than BC 1.0.

The car surprised me when BC 1.3 would do assisted lane changes when not in hands-free mode. While BC 1.3 would not do assisted lane change in non-Blue Zones, it would do so in Blue Zones when traveling over 80 mph. At those speeds I had to keep gentle pressure on the steering wheel but the car would still check for a clearing, change lanes, and turn off the turn signal even though I was clearly operating in hands-on mode.

This makes me think that folks who haven't paid for BC 1.3 subscriptions (or let it lapse) will still get assisted lane changes during ACC/LC driving when in Blue Zones.

I won't bother with videos of other features that have been reported and shown in videos elsewhere. There are plenty of BC 1.3 feature videos on YouTube.

BC 1.3 is a definite improvement over BC 1.0. Differences between BC 1.3 and 1.4 seemed like marginal improvements in 1.4, even per Ford's descriptions. The next big feature upgrade will come in BC 1.5.
