I should have added...that maybe some of your MME compatriots there in the UK would consider knocking out your list for a modest consideration and your funding of a license to facilitate the updates. There have been 'update parties' reported on this forum before... just a thought.
Sounds like a great party, to me :) If there is anyone in or around London UK who could help…:)

Chicken and egg.

Your car was updated by you as well as the dealer within the last year. So assuming you did (or the dealer did) every available update to the IPC, CCM, CMR, IPMA, and PSCM successfully, and that you don't have any updates for those modules right now...you may indeed be on the latest revs. that would enable BC 1.2 (at minimum 1.2 but could be higher).

Do you have a current BC subscription to try it out with?

Like I said, it's 'chicken and egg'. You could have the latest revs. and your car could be BC 1.2/3 capable, but if you don't have a current subscription you'll never know. And if you're wanting to confirm that you're good to go before renewing a subscription I'm not familiar enough with all the software revisions for the '21 models that would conclusively determine that one way or the other. We need to gather info from others (VINs) that do have BC 1.2/3 working and have an active subscription on their '21 model to use for comparison with your cars module software revisions to know for sure.
Yes I do have a active BC and I don’t have lane change.

You may want to ask over here since that would be a regional question.

When the latest IPMA/PSCM update is installed with FDRS, it does not enable the config to enable lane change and the other new BC features. That only happens with the vehicle is updated via the OTA process. Because your IPMA is on the latest software, you will not receive the OTA that enables the features. You would have to turn the features on yourself with FORScan. If you have FORScan or are willing to get it and do it, feel free to message me and I will walk you through it. It is not difficult at all.

Just read on the other FDRS thread that some 2021s are getting APIM update. Maybe mine? Thanks in advance.

Some awesome members here have signed up for an FDRS account and have offered to run VINs and show what module updates are available for their Mach-E. Those offers can get buried in a thread, and I thought a stand-alone post might get more attention and be easier to spot the offer.

Two forum members have been exceptionally helpful to me, and I want to give a shout-out and pay it forward. @kltye and @breeves002 answered a bunch of my silly questions as I purchased a Bosch MasterTech II and a PL6100 battery maintainer... and my 11 module update went flawless last night because of them.

For those that don't know, a Ford FDRS license can be purchased for as few as 2 days for $50, all the way up to a year for quite a bit more. I have a 2-day license expiring Sunday (10-10-21) evening. If you would like me to run your VIN, I'm happy to run as many as I can. In off-line mode, it will show what modules have a software update available. No codes or anything like that show since you need to be hooked up to the vehicle to pull them.

My thought is that since there seems to be a handful of us willing to purchase the 2-day FDRS license, it would be great to share the resource before spending the money to check for an available update.

If you are interested, you can post here or send me a private message with your VIN, and I'll send you a screenshot of your FDRS screen. Again, my license expires Sunday (10-10-21) in the evening.

If you have FDRS access and are willing to look up another forum member's Mach-E details, post in this thread with the time period that your license is active.

First off, congrats on your new car. And in Cyber Orange!

Your 12V battery is at 47% SOC as of the last time the car reported in...and that's something you will want to keep an eye on. This is not uncommon for cars that took over a year to get to their first owner's driveway after manufacture...and the battery is only 36Ah to begin with. So a lot of them have been replaced within months of delivery due to sitting so long without being properly recharged during that time.

You have no OTA history at all...again not really surprising...I don't know what Ford's intent is for providing OTAs there in NZ.

Here's the list of available software showing for your VIN in FDRS:
Ford Mustang Mach-E Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others 3FMTR4SX9PMA50807-4-Jan-25

It looks like the powertrain items got updated at some point, but I want to draw your attention to the Additional Updates section in the box at the bottom.

What this is saying is that due to software dependencies, if you either receive an OTA for the IPC, or a tech updates it using FDRS, the next update should be for the GWM (gateway module, which is the network controller/router for the car), and then that in turn will 'reveal' an APIM (Sync) update, which when updated will in-turn reveal another GWM, etc., on and on, until that's all caught up. Having done these updates myself, this would take most of a day to complete. All of those updates (IPC, GWM, APIM, TCU) are all USB based updates and they all take roughly 45 minutes to an hour each to complete (download time, copy to USB drive, insert into console, wait for car to read and copy, and then shutdown for 10 minutes to do the A/B switchover, and then go to the next one). It's not hard, and it doesn't even really require a powersupply to do USB updates (because the car is running during the update), but it is time-consuming.

Enjoy your new ride!
