No but 6.14 may be preparing parts of your car for the BC 1.3 update.

'21 job 2, AWD extended range. Got the 1.3 update last night. Haven't tried it out yet.

By total coincidence, BC subscription expires at end of Feb.

Now my subscription decision moves from "hell no" to "ehhhhhhh, I'll think about it."

Installed last night. I currently don't have BC anymore (subscription expired in August). Not sure I will reactivate it. Still waiting for the update to integrate EV routing into Android Auto.

It shouldn't matter. My 12V was at 40% SOC when the update started, when it finished (took 90 minutes), the 12V SOC was at 67%.

Received the 1.3 update on my 2021 Job 1, but BC still refuses to activate, only ever going into ACC/LKA hands-on mode. Been an issue since I bought the car. Only resolution seems to be taking it into the dealer

Adding on to this, the software in the car calls the lane-assist cruise control blue cruise (for some dumb reason) but it actually isn't. Check to make sure you have an actual active blue cruise subscription. Otherwise, it will never activate.

I might add that I was using the Car Guys advice on how to never miss an OTA update. Coincidence or not?? Who knows. I was letting the Mach E run for an hour in the garage because it’s cold out and I haven’t driven in a few days. Enabling 12 V battery charging.

Just got the software update notification on my 2021 as well. Its downloading now. My sub is also up next month, I'm sure not a coincidence. Wouldn't have extended without 1.3. Now hoping for a discount email..
