On December 23rd, I got the dread Stop Safely Now warning on my 2022 AWD/Premium/Extended 10/22 date of manufacture Mach e. Car bricked in middle of busy street (windows and other accessories continued to work) and I had to be towed to local dealer. VERY DANGEROUS. as I was stuck in middle of busy road and car car was stuck in Park. After waiting over two weeks for the only available EV Tech and EV Bay, the dealer informed me yesterday that two of the high voltage battery "cells" (I assume they mean modules) have failed and need to be replaced which will require the entire high voltage battery to be dropped down from the bottom of the car to get access to the top "cells" for replacement. Replacement parts are available but need to be delivered by a "special courier" which will take 5-10 days. Install will take 2-3 weeks. I have had no other issues with the car and have never charged it at a high voltage charging station. Car has about 9,000 miles on it. Not only is this extremely frustrating to have to wait weeks for a simple diagnosis but an additional 3 weeks to be fixed, assuming all goes well. Most importantly, it bricked on a busy road __EXTREMELY DANGEROUS.
