Ford Branded Lectron Adapters Now Shipping!

Nothing from Ford, although I was told that my advocate would keep me updated, "crickets".

On the other hand I have a package coming from USPS that was shipped from New Hudson, MI on 01/06/25 and set for delivery on 01/13/25 that I don't know anything about. Hopefully it is the adapter but I won't know until it shows up. Also, the Saint George Post Office doesn't always deliver in the time-frame specified. (Fast growing city for the past 10 years and the Post Office just can't keep up) I moved here in 2017 and there were no houses to the north of me for 4 miles. Now there are THOUSANDS", there were 6 houses to the east of me and now there are close to a THOUSAND.

Oh well, wait and see

I received my ford adapter today, I was surprised, I kept telling my daughter i have not ordered anything, maybe it's for your brother I never thought that they shipped it. I thought they came in a carrying case my was just in a box.

Well, it was NOT the NACS adapter, it was a back-ordered part for one of my PCs (Optical Drive Rails).

I guess I will contact Ford again on Monday when I have some time. I just love how my advocate has kept me informed about the status. It seems that since Fed-Ex lost the adapter Ford really doesn't care. It is sad that a Job 1 vehicle that was among the first to order the "complementary" NACS adapter has to be a PITA to get something done.

Oh well, I will just keep calling them every other day and become annoying.

What you saw on this forum were examples of DIY projects done by owners. The $8 home depot tool bag easily holds your new adapter and the AC destination charger adapter.

Walmart also has a $6 plastic ammo box - I bought one of them first, but since it is lockable I'm using it elsewhere. It has a long URL link, but its called this.....

I replaced the Mach E with a very cheap Ariya lease, so I do have a use for the adapter.

If you haven’t done so already, there’s a small piece of plastic you need to get for the charge port on the Aria so that the adapter can charge the car. There’s a video on the State of Charge YouTube channel.
