Hey can you link the 20K data you mentioned? Thank you
Sorry - When final sales were tallied, the company reports, Americans had driven home 51,745 Mustang Mach-E SUVs in 2024.

Update: dealership ordered and is replacing the high voltage junction box.
say whaaaaaat.
My ‘24 Mach-E Premium eAWD Extended had the dreaded errors come up after 6200 miles and under 4 months of ownership. Has been sitting at the dealer for a month and (checks notes) 1 day now. Dealer says no parts available. Opened a claim with Ford BEV and they say no parts available for a completely undetermined amount of time.
How can this happen?

Wow my dealer lakeland florida usually gets the part within 3-4 days. I am on my 3rd replacement too. This time around has been the longest wait. Today will be day 5.

Another one! Have they provided a rental?

Ohhh boy is that another story. They were going to give me a rental for 10 days and then…???…. So I said, you are going to keep my car forever (basically) and then tell me to fuck myself after 10 days? They BEV team at corporate had to step in and make sure a loaner was provided. I’d say my request was reasonable. A brand new car with a known error and you can’t fix it? So now I’m driving a brand new bronco sport which is frustrating that they won’t loan out another BEV.

And the best part was the dealership initially told me (before the BEV care team got involved) “after the 10 days you can rent a car from us for $60/day.”

Amazing. I just got off the phone with my BEV specialist at Corporate and she said there is currently still a back order with a negative balance (which is what I thought a back order was…). So, I am looking into the buyback process now.

What a PITA. Same attitude they gave me when I asked for a rental when my 2021 HVBJB gave up. Id be asking them to reimburse your monthly payment if it’s been over a month

Sorry that sucks. I have not had any issues with a loaner. First 2 times i got a ford escape which sucked. This time its a nice explorer but i do wish they give ev’s especially for those who have been ev only for a while now. I am also considering buy back as well. I just hate i have put tints, ceramic coating and just installed a subwoofer in it.

Thank you for the update- we all thought the “c” version or newer on the 2024 would minimize HVB failures . Interesting as this forum can provide a “record” of 2024 HVB failures for 2024’s. So appropriately 20k cars 2024 MME sold is a handful of failures anticipated?
I believe the suffix for the AWD Extended Range ends in a “E” where the GT ends in a “C.” ??

I haven’t heard of a lot of failures of 2024s, so I’m thinking that this is just a minor variance. While it’s a pain in the rear for the individual car owner, the fleet in general is not currently indicated to be at a probability of risk. ?‍♂?

I guess I spoke too soon. Just heard from my dealer that they won’t have the part until Thursday. So it will be in the shop for basically 2 weeks if it get it back Friday of next week.
As much as I love the car. Might have to just go with the buyback. Seeing way too many issues. Are the rally’s having this issue as well? Isn’t the internals basically the same aside from suspension ?
