Also on the same car, I installed a CTEK 40-149 battery sense monitor. I would only recommend this for cars that aren't driven much or to monitor an auxiliary battery you may be using (for stereo amps for instance) as it's around $60. It's a small box that connects to your battery and to your phone via bluetooth. The CTEK phone app will send you an alert when your battery is low plus has graphs that display battery voltage, state of charge and temperature.

I also have the cutouts so I can attach clamps from the PL6100 battery power supply when updating the MME's software.
Ken, I'm getting back to you on the size of those eyelets on the CTEK 56-380 connector/battery indicator. They are large enough to fit over any of the battery's positive terminals and the main ground stud coming off the battery, going to the body. While I did not need to install this in my car, I figured since I had an extra one I would just in case I ever needed to charge my LVB without having to open the frunk or remove any panels. I also included the manual on the CTEK MXS 5.0 (1090) model I have in case you wanted to see the specs. The reason you don't see any of the LED's lit is they blink very quickly about every 2 seconds and none were lit at the time I took the shots.

I really liked this idea too, but when I went to buy it this is what I found...I really like this modification because it allows access to the LVB without raising the hood. If the LVB is dead, just pop open the door and connect up a charger. There might be other reasons you can't or don't want to open the hood as well. Cool.
Nice work, Mark. I am putting this on my car to-do list.

They do seem to have a non Bluetooth "dumb" version still in production for $39, but I'm not sure you can get the same service from it? I already have a C-Tek maintainer for my vintage summer fun cars so it would be noce to have this option for the MME
