I had a 12v marine battery connected to the posts which got the battery out of saver mode but the car still won't start. If you own a 12v battery charger suitable for use with AGM batteries AND it can put out 10 amps (a trickle charger wont be enough) you can open the hood, pop out the panels behind and left (charge-port side) of the frunk basin and there are two battery charging posts. One has a red cap covering it (the positive post) and the black post is just bolted to the body.
Once the battery can supply enough power to the various modules, it takes a while before all the modules are powered back up. In my experience … about 20 minutes. I was able to start my car sooner, but still got some error messages about modules that weren’t responding … after about 20 minutes everything was working again. The “first start” after a dead battery may still have some codes … but wont be there after subsequent starts.I had a 12v marine battery connected to the posts which got the battery out of saver mode but the car still won't start.
Any Ford dealer can test the battery and replace it.I guess I should try a replacement. The car is under warranty but the dealer where I purchased it is 100 miles away.
Extended warranty? Most, if not all, 21s are past the 36 month factory warranty.I guess I should try a replacement. The car is under warranty but the dealer where I purchased it is 100 miles away.
It's a blue certified used car and came with 90 day warranty. It's kind of a mystery to me what operates on the 12v and what does not. The center console, dash, climate, lights are all ok...Extended warranty? Most, if not all, 21s are past the 36 month factory warranty.
Invalid VIN, please try again. But I probably can’t see anything if it won’t start. In the driveway with 100% charge. when i push the start button it, every error is displayed on the dash and it won't go into gear.

Does an extended warranty include 12v.Extended warranty? Most, if not all, 21s are past the 36 month factory warranty.
BTW, be careful not to get locked out with a low battery that won’t unlock the door.
