How to Enable B&O Beosonic EQ with FORScan

Need some help - I had a local performance shop perform this procedure for me since I did not have access to Forscan. I now have the Beosonic menu enabled, but the Beosonic menu is not changing the audio quality. Is there something else that needs to be done or enabled? Thanks.

See requirements. Did they update the DSP software first?

I guess my question is, how do you check what DSP software your vehicle is currently running? All I see in the Software Updates menu is 10.1.1.

Do you need an ODB tool is read the DSP version?

I'm going to wait to code this until the new IPC update it out so I can code the power meter too. What is the consensus on sound quality with this mod? Does it sound better compared to standard settings?

I would not say it makes the audio system sound better. It is an equalizer with preset settings and you can easily adjust the sound to your preference. That said I guess you can say the audio will sound better to your liking.

Yes you still can use the standard EQ and that is what I do even though I have the Beosonic

Never went OTA, only those with updated DSPs and APIMs can enable it via FORScan.

To me I wouldn't say it's a huge difference, but I will note that the bass seems to actually, well, have bass now. I keep mine high up between "energetic" and "bright". From what I can tell those primarily boost the bass and treble. The other side under "relaxed" and "warm" seems to muffle and mute things.

Ford dealer verified I had the updated DSP and APIM software, but still not able to "enable" the Beosonic sound profiles. Regardless of position or selection, it all sounds Neutral.

Successful mod! I had to wait for the DSP update before I can change it. Definitely better control over the "feel" of the sounds. Sounds great in that energetic/bright area.

I tried this on a platinum Lightning and the buttons appear. However they do not respond when pressed. Waited a few minutes did a few reboots. Do i need to check the version of the software of the APIM or DSP? If so how do you see that from forscan? Thanks!

I have the same in Mach-e GT 2023. The button appeared but is not active. Do I need to do resets? Does my Mustang not support it? How do I check?
