The actual car config I guess you get via FDRS. But what Ford platform can you check to see what's stored at the mothership?

PTS, which is Professional Technician System website, but you can also pull the config off of a vehicle with the VIN on the motorcraft website. I'll try to find the link and amend this post with it. I don't use it myself since I have PTS access.

Also, I don't think FDRS shows you the config; but FORScan does.

P061A code for torque monitoring performance in the rear motor. This is most likely a glitch. I recommend getting the powertrain software updated at your dealer with TSB 21-2244.

Your 12V status is 85% charged, and health is about 63%, so time to replace soon.

Thanks for the info. It wound up clearing up by itself. I accidently left 1 pedal drive on when i went into car wash & have a feeling thats what caused the fault.

Reading the config for a module with FDRS takes seconds; not hours.

And by the way, this does not always work. Particularly with the newer versions of FDRS. I've read the config on certain modules in my truck many times to get the data to sync up to the mothership, and Ford still shows different config than what my truck actually has.

I kinda thought so, but being at the mercy of dealers and service departments this is what they wanted to charge me, since I don't really have any other options to get my car back to updating

However being paralyzed and on disability I also can't afford to do that so.... Kinda stuck with a car that will never update I guess .. unless I can find someone local enough on here to do it

Look up some Bluetooth battery monitors on ebay or Amazon. Easy install and you can check it from an app on your phone.

I saw your post in the other thread. You do have a GWM update showing that once applied, should release the latest APIM update that will hopefully improve your CarPlay issues.

I am not sure what happened that BC broke the last time you tried to FDRS yourself, but I can tell you if that were to happen now, we'd be able to help you fix it.

I had someone close by update the car, it was way back when before the ‘21 got the frunk button, so we added those and there was one other “update showing”. But everytime we tried to to update it, it just kept spinning and didn’t look like it was doing anything and eventually timed out. All connections were good etc. So we just said ok just wont take, but something happened as my BC wouldnt work on the way home. Question, so I don’t have 10.x updates yet will that update either of those modules? or will any OTA update them coming soon for me? Or am i stuck till either I or the dealer updates the GWM? I’ve had success this week with forscan, so might someday spend the $ fo the FDRS equipment. Thanks for the info.

Once the GWM gets done via OTA or FDRS, the APIM would be next which is 10.1.0. I don't think fdrs is necessary for you if you're two updates away from what you want. No way of knowing when it will be sent to you OTA, though.

I do have a question i noticed on FDRS that some boxes are orange showing DTCs, I know Mike mentioned clearing them but im unsure on how to clear them. Is this cause for concern?

Hello all, I'm seeing the dealer on Monday because FORD's OTA desk doesn't show any new updates for my car in the last 60 days and I clearly received the 10.1.1 update within the last couple of weeks so they're going to see why the two aren't in sync. Was wondering if someone could check my car for any missing or pending updates that I can tell them to process when I talk to the service tech. My VIN is: 3FMTK3SU1PMA01220

Which camera module? The IPMA?

FDRS will let you calibrate the IPMA. It requires driving the car with the laptop plugged in for a few miles on a road with well painted lane markings. It's very easy to do.
