Since I had the home charger installed in the garage I find myself charging less. Mostly because I know the charger is always there and available.

up till now I was charging at work - where availability is high but not guaranteed.

I use about 10kw each way commuting.

previously I was thinking about charging at 50% (of ext range battery) now my target is 25%.

not sure I am brave enough to try to squeeze in one more round trip - to end up getting home under 10%.

who is that brave?

My wife DD's the Mach E and has a very predictable daily commute. In the two weeks we've had the car, I've charged three times, each one being in the 20-25% range. Obviously, non-predictable daily usage would dictate charging more often. It's all in how someone uses their vehicle.

Latest thought process is to charge daily to 90% because charging less and more frequently is better for the battery. Besides, it’s good to warm up the battery overnight.

This has been asked and answered many times already.

Our usual usage is 10 or less percent. Always plugged in and charge to 90%.

I charge to 80% unless I know that I need more since that is generally the standard for other lithium batteries such as smartphones. I think Ford chose 90% so you'll have more range if you need it. I wouldn't let it go to 25% because unexpected trips come up and then you're stuck.

I frequently charge back up to 80 as soon as it dips to high 60s. I’d hate to have a surprise trip and not have enough juice.

I really don't have a say in this matter because we have a 120 and we never get to 90% but I thought I'd share.
The good thing is the wife only works12 miles away. So she drives in traffic and side streets and she might come back home below, at, or a little above the mileage she left with.
I.e. yesterday she left with 190 miles and came back with 185 and when she gets home, plugs in and she'll leave at 216 miles today

I have to make up reasons to drive my car, otherwise he sits in the garage for months instead of weeks.

Charging every day is best for the battery. There is no benefit to waiting until the battery is at a lower charge before charging back up. Multiple small charges are healthier than one big charge.

Getting into the habit of plugging in every time you park at home reduces the chance of accidentally forgetting. Even if you just went down to the corner store and back, best practice would be to plug back in. Plugging in also enables you to use the wall power to precondition and give you a more efficient drive.

Currently on my Tesla I charge to a 55-60% limit every day because I only use about 20% round trip to work. I plan to do the same with my MME when it comes. I have about 97% battery health after 2.5 years/30k mi.

I work from home (rarely drive) and leave my car plugged in all the time. The Ford Charge Station only consumes 4 watts at idle, and I stop at 80% charge.

That said, I do enjoy running to 0% for fun occasionally: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/0-battery-watch-out.43338/post-926177

If you're squeezing as many trips as you can before a recharge, I guess you're technically reducing charge cycles and increasing the life of your HV batteries. We'll have to compare in 5 years to see what our state of health is comparatively lol.
