Nope, but I've always appreciated them. My friends growing up had a fox body GT and LX (with a V8) that they both modded to sound and look great. I couldn't afford one growing up and didn't want an old used one, so I never got around to owning one. I've often considered some of the modern mustangs because they just look fantastic, but being a family man, I couldn't do two doors anymore. So, a 4 door EV called a Mustang in GT trim ticked a ton of my boxes and here I am. It will be my first mustang even if the purists don't consider it being one.

First car ever in high school was a red 65 Mercury Comet Convertible - pretty much the same as a 65 Mustang. Unfortunately, with my wife and I putting ourselves through college a few years later, had to sell it to pay tuition. Then, 30 years later, bought another Red Convertible - 2002 Mustang GT (see pic avatar) convertible. Had many good drives with my family for years as a Sunday driver. Now has 40,000 miles on it, will share a garage with my Rapid Red CA Rt 1 Mach E!

I have had 9 mustangs. My first car was in 1970 when I was a sophomore in high school, a '65 straight 6, then a '69 Grande' 390 when I was a senior. After high school, a '66 pony edition straight 6, '70 Mach 1 428 SCJ, '71 & '73 Mach I both 351's, '76 Mustang II 5.0 (unfortunately), '79 5.0 and now 50 years later after my first mustang, I have a '20 GT500. I have a Mach-E Premium 4x on order with a build week of Jan 18th and have reserved a Mach-E GT.

My first new vehicle was a '99 GT. My second new vehicle was a '01 Bullitt edition. Hoping my next new vehicle is a '23 MME. Had a bunch of used vehicles in between. Have to wait for my current leased vehicle to come due. Will also let me save $$ for a down payment to make it possible to buy one.
