Got a spare Ford Mobile Charger showing steady red which means it is toast. I am beyond the 3/36 warranty, so wondering what to do with broken charger.
Unit appear to be sealed and may be hard to disassemble. There is not a lot of information from either Ford or Webasto the company that makes it.
I know many have broken j1772 connectors and cables that would benefit from these parts. Anyone have any experience or recommendations what to do?

I recently bought a car that came with the mobile charger, but only had the 110v plug and was missing the 220v plug. So if you have a plug for the 220v I'd be interested in getting that piece.

I only have a spare 110v adapter and a wall bracket/mount...and the unit itself. I may list adapter and wall bracket on Ebay, but still have a dilemma what to do with the unit. I have a email in to manufacturer also.

Pull the 240V plug off and sell it to Ken there, rest is probably trash or you sell it for parts on eBay.

Recycle it. Who wants to take a chance on burning their house down? Be grateful that it gave an indication that it’s dead and didn’t cause any damage to your house or car. Some things in life are not worth messing with.
