Does anyone have a recommendation for an affordable extended warranty plan for my 2022 Mach E GT? My manufacturer based one is up in September, 25 and I am most concerned with coverage for the electrical system, battery etc. I plan on keeping this vehicle for at least 72 months from my purchase date which would be in 2028. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Granger, Flood and Ziegler all sell Ford warranties at much lower cost than other dealers. For me Granger was the cheapest. I go 100k miles 8years $100ded for like$1700. Remember you already have 8yr 100k mile on the HV battery, and 5yr 60k i think on powertrain.

Thank you for the recommendation. That seems to be the consensus by many. Looking at 7 yr and 75k premium warranty. My understanding is that a tail light or other nuisance to the vehicle will cost more than the warranty would.

There is a separate lighting warranty i added on for $70 covers all factory installed lighting.

Extended warranties are generally a waste of money. The high voltage battery and associated components are already warrantied for 8 years / 100k miles. See summary of warranty coverage below:

Generally yes but happy I took one out on my 2021. I had the left front headlamp replaced because the LED turn signals worked erratically, right rear window motor stopped working and right rear boot on the half shaft started leaking grease. All this after 36K miles. Repairs were a little over $5K. I paid $2365 for the 7 year 100K warranty (including the lighting, keyfob replacement and same day car rental options.and got back $1300 when I traded the car in (unused portion of warranty). Think I made out well on that one and bought the same extended warranty for my 2024.
