You cannot buy an extended warranty from Ford before you own the car, and you need the VIN.

You can buy the Ford extended warranty anytime from day 1 to 41 months or 41,000 miles after purchase.

Within 12 months / 12,000 miles, it costs $X.
From that point until 36 months / 36,000 miles, it costs $100 more.
From that point until 41 months / 41,000 miles, it costs around $100 more than that, maybe.

No, I got the quote from Lombard Ford over the phone and brought it to the dealer when I bought the car. They couldn’t match the price so then I bought it from Lombard Ford. You have to have a VIN number before you buy it.

So my dealer sold the Powertrain + Wrap coverage and it seems flood ford is selling the premium coverage for 1455$ (200$ deductible) and mine seems to be lot higher . Mine is vehicle is few day old so still have an option to cancel the coverage that dealer provided. Have a couple of questions and would appreciate the help:

1. It seems like you don't have to buy the ESP now and could be bought within manufactures warranty which is 36months?
2. Dealer says you can cancel the ESP, can I buy again via FloodFord?
3. Flood ford pricing is the best available?
4. What is the kind of coverage required for ESP?

Based on my research Grangerford has the lowest price. I'm thinking about buying ESP from them but I am still waiting for my Ford pass rewards to kick in. After seeing a follow here for two flats, I want to buy the triplecare too but they are selling both at $50 over cost each. ESP is around $1300-1500 so $50 is a good deal. However, triplecare is around $400 and $50 is over 10%.
