Misleading... 2023 MMe No foot liftgate, no parking assist... anything else? Any fixes?

2021 "kick to open" is flawless in my particular car. Think it would be difficult to go with out it now that I've been using it for 3.5 years. I hope OP finds a solution. Good Luck!! Just another reason to keep the "ole girl" a little longer!!

these features never worked well on the Mach-E. So you are not missing much.
This.

I had a 21 RWD SR with it and the foot liftgate detection sucked. It barely worked half the time. I prefer the Kia Smart Liftgate where you stand next to the hatch and opens after a few seconds (beeps 3 times to warn you beforehand).

Kick to open also worked great in our '22 after an FDRS update. I think it's the one feature we miss after moving to a '24. Sorry, OP.

I believe early MMEs had the customary four metal D-rings in back for securing cargo and elastic nets
Eurozone and UK destined cars, plus China origin Mach-es had the 4 D-rings. North American destined cars had the two. There is a long thread here (somewhere) about how to do an aftermarket install of the four d-rings.

I have a ‘21 Premium. I sometimes use the foot activated feature, but have never used the park assist. I wouldn’t have missed either.

No, the North American cars got only the two D-rings (plastic ones in 2023 Job2 and newer). In order to get the front two cargo rings, one would have to have an EU-spec car or have taken part in the purchase of the custom-made rings that we did a couple of years ago. Our forum members bought out the entire stock of rings in Europe in 2022. Ford Europe didn’t get any stock back in until the middle of 2024 because the manufacturer went out of business and they needed everything they had to build new cars for the EU. I don’t know if Oz or Kiwi cars got the front rings. ??

Likewise. I occasionally use a cane or the grocery store walker, aka shopping cart, so I’ve just gotten use to pressing the button. Or using the frunk.

10 bits of binary goes up to about one thousand.

Of course, you may have greater or fewer than the usual number of bits per hand, but the number's still fairly large.

I purchased a used 2023 MME with the extended battery. All user manuals and stickers show I have foot opening of the rear lift gate but doesn't along with parking assist which Ford shut off. Any other surprised that other owners have found?

Anything else on this car which is misrepresented??

We are disappointed with Ford.
