Ford App - New Start/Stop button

This new start/stop button showed up today on the upper right. All it seems to do is force charge to 100%…and override my 90% setting. Anyone know of any other purpose.

Was hopeful to get climate controls on the app, but nothing yet and no car updates since purchase of this 2024 MME.

I noticed this the other day and posted for advice.

It appears when car’s plugged in, before target charge is reached you can stop charging using this button.

If charged to target level and still plugged in, it appears as a Start button which means you can restart charging to continue to 100% charge.

Nope. Nothing there but extend time after starting. Does nothing but start/stop climate controls can’t adjust temp like others can.

Temperature adjustment is dependent on a lot of factors, including server-side settings. My 2024 is fully updated via FDRS and I don’t have the temperature controls in the FordPass app. For us plebes, the only thing we can do is start the climate control and have it work based off of the last setting. ?‍?

I don’t have the button you describe but I do have the climate buttonsc update which only appear when climste is remotely turned on.

Climate controls is what I really want but doesn’t look like the 2024’s have that option.

The Start/Stop button you are referring to appears when charging or using house power to run climate.

I have both 22 and 24 that have been updated, once I push the [fan] an additional climate settings pad appears beneath. Touching that allows you to modify the settings.

When you start Climate with the fan button and the fan is spinning, you don't see "Climate Settings" right under it? If you do, just tap "Climate Settings" and you should see this:

Nope. No climate settings. Fan icon is spinning but nothing under it. Doesn’t matter how long I wait, if car is on L2 charger or not, or if I’m with Bluetooth distance I or not. Running latest version of iOS app.

Same issue I have for the 2024. I can extend climate but can’t control it

That's unfortunate! I'm using Android 15. Maybe it's an IOS thing? My guess is that it's the app and not that your MME is '24...? Maybe some of our Apple users could let you know what they have/see and also get some additional feedback from other Android users who have a '24.

i have a late 2023 and also can not set climate temp. just the "extend" button. Samsung Fold 6 phone
