The EV specs haven't appreciably changed as far as I can tell. 412 mile EPA range and an improved 0-60 time of 3.1 seconds.

Tesla says they did hardware changes to the drive units, battery modules and the pack. That could mean additional improvements to their Model S charging times which currently stands at ~38 minutes per Bjorn Nyland test.

Not a fan of the steering wheel, otherwise nice looking interior.

I’m pretty big anti-Tesla so take this with a grain of salt. The interior is still too minimalistic and that steering whee is goofy and inconvenient when driving like a normal person would. The screen is nicer and the rear screen is a good touch. 22 speakers seem overkill and I could take or leave the gaming computer, but then again I’ve never experienced waiting for a charge.

What is undeniable impressive is the range numbers on those models. 520 for the plaid+
I wonder how many of those miles will find you scooping out water flooding in from the panel gaps

I am surprised they do not seem to be moving toward facial recognition for true hands free like Ford and GM. I do not see any ir cameras.

Doesn‘t look like it.
There are minor improvements, but if you load up the original S and X and put them next to the refreshed looks, it is really minor.

Such an improvement to the interior, but a truly baffling choice of steering wheel *and* deletion of the turn signal and gear shift stalks as well.

Love the steering wheel and info cluster. Huge improvement imo. Like a space ship.

Good comparison, old v new.

I always liked the exterior of the the model-s once it got the small T front grill, the interior was always a major let down especially how the center large screen integration looked like an after thought.

I like that the exterior has not changed that much and that they have now finally fixed the screen integration for a much better interior only to then go and ruin it with a kitt steering wheel :(

I thought I saw turn signal touch buttons on the left face of the wheel. In any case this is a situation, if no one has said it yet, of "Elon take the wheel."
