Does anyone else have Louisville as their destination on palsapp? I think I'm the only person not headed to KC. I sure hope it's actually going there, since it's a very short truck ride to my dealer.
I have Atlanta as a destination, but everything is pending
Auto racks are Class 1 trains. 10mph!!!
I thought they just were being towed by a cybertruck

There’s a car headed to Encinitas Ford on my palsapp receipt from last Sunday. Awww! Maybe our cars are roommates!

So, let me get this straight (as one of those few hundred customers with a problem), my car is still at the factory and it will take at least 8 weeks to solve the problem! I have waited 14 and half months and received zilch in the way of communication about the problem. And this "executive" thinks they are doing a good job? ( Jan 25 article quoting Hau Thai-Tang, Ford's vice president of product development and purchasing )

The only comfort I MIGHT find in this, is that mine has already been in production jail for 48 of those 56 days.

A bigger question that I think is really important is WHAT part had the quality issue, and PLEASE don't tell me it is a quality problem with the battery supplier (ref Kuga, Escape, and Corsair PHEV problem)! I will be transporting my family around in a vehicle where we are sitting on Lithium Ion batteries that can "Halt and Catch Fire". Those familiar with the early days of the PC may find some humor int the phrase, but in those days it would not kill you!
Your very sentiment pushed me towards the Model Y - took delivery today. I just couldn't wait around any longer without any kind of communication. You know, I emailed my dealer 2.5 weeks ago to tell him to cancel my order, and I've heard ZERO back. I don't even think he cancelled the order because I can still see all the info under my account. Oh well.

Copy That! Actually there should be a way to cancel thru Ford directly. The dealers are really happy if you just cancel and ask for a deposit return. They are still going to get the car and they can now jack the price to the next sucker. I have a backup VW order and will take the MME when Ford finally solves it's "Quality" issue. I will line up a new home for the MME. Unfortunately VW is using the same Battery supplier and that does cause some concern. The Tesla option may be a better route since they are more closely integrated with a different Battery supplier (Panasonic), and will soon be manufacturing their own cells.

How do you like your Model Y? Would be interested in a pro/con post comparing it to the MME from someone who learned a lot about the MME before going to the MY.

Can’t say for sure but Ford updates for others of us have been estimates of 3 weeks once it’s at Argentine or Muncie.

Does the admin of this site disable your account once you admit to having purchased a Model Y...? Kidding...

Would like to hear any comparison details, although like most of us here, I am so close to delivery that I will not be giving up on the MME order without some massive change in circumstances.

That seem ridiculous but not surprising at this point.

Yes, comments from Ford exec that appeared in the Autonews last week indicated that cars identified as "not meeting quality levels" would be delayed up to 8 weeks. Where the repair actions would occur was not mentioned, but apparently parts are required. If you have been following the problems with the supply chain then you know it is going to continue for some time.

I have been following it all. But I have received nothing about my car failing any tests. Only that it was being quality checked. My revised ETA after the quality control issue email is still just 2 weeks out. Is there something special about a car being sent to the Argentine ramp? I'm pretty sure that's where it was supposed to head all along as my sticker has always said "RATB" for Ramp 1.

Do not know. Since Ford refuses to let users know the status of their cars I have been wrestling with the folks in the customer sat group. I was supposed to get a call last night but did not hear from them. I sent another note to my contact this morning and hope to get more info when they call back. It is incredible to me as a retired employee of a large corporation that they can be this tone deaf. Also concerned about the interesting approach to Financial controls. Inventory management seems to be a missing skill set.
