I saw that. It is what I sort of suspected when the notice said all cars after Dec 8 would have price increase. Although some on the price increase chat say they have talked to their dealers who are using pricing they signed off on when ordered. Have you spoken with your dealer? On the Ford website under Reservations and orders, what price is showing? I just printed the one on website, which shows old price, in case price changes...for my file
All the newsfeeds say that only those who ordered after Dec 8 are affected by the price increase

So how are you planning on handling the purchase day with the dealer when the sticker says one thing and you are expecting another. That is why I am building a file and printing every communication out.....

There is a good thread regarding the Ford Retail Price Increase over on the Blue Oval forms.

Dealer Invoices and Window Stickers are generated with the prices in effect at the time the vehicle is produced. The price protection for retail orders is an accounting function between the dealership and Ford that adjusts the vehicle prices to those in effect on the original order date.
You will need to ask your dealer request the price adjustment from Ford.

I can print out my order page (it has an original price)
I also have a letter from the Dealer with the original price.
I'm not sure I will go ahead with the purchase if they don't honor the initial deal ...... I just don't like to be ripped off like that.......

Just called my dealer. He said that all 22 model stickers will go with the new MSRP price, but during the purchase Ford will issue a rebate if the order was placed before the price change.

Makes sense, I guess - it's how they handled '21s converted to '22s, they issued a $750 credit. So I guess we'd get two credits.

It's "Ford Thursday" and still no email from Ford telling me that my GT production week has been moved down-calendar from 1/3. At least not yet.

I just noticed from another 'build week' thread that a date will appear under the words "In Production" when production actually starts on a particular day. So I think we all need to wait for a calendar day to appear there.

I also read in other 'build week' threads that your window sticker will activate (become available from the link on your order summary page) about one week before the day your car's production will start.

Keep these lessons-learned in mind leading up to 1/3 and the days that follow.

I decided to pretend/practice my range anxiety with my current car. I currently get over 750 miles per tank on my honda accord hybrid and usually fill up with a lttle more than 1/2 full.
But today the GOM is at 276 and I am going to TRY to wait until it gets under 100 before I fill up. Going to see how high my anxiety gets!! But I need to condition myself for lower ranges. The challenge is on...(for me anyway)

On the long march of focusing on the minutiae. For example, just now, while clicking on the window sticker link, instead of a 404 pdf I now get a pdf named windowsticker. Yay. But then I open it and it says "not yet" ?

I ordered June 10th...and am in the 1/3 build! Last week it showed I'm in production, so I assume it may come early?

Do any of you know the recent build to pickup at the dealer time? I have a 2000 F250 that I need to sell.

Also, anyone have any info on the 120V Ford Charger. We just moved to a condo and I have a storage room in the garage that has a 20Amp circuit that I'll be using to charge the Mach E. I figure if it will charge at 16amps I can handle most of my miles I need to charge overnight...but if it only charges at 10amps, will be a problem. (240V to the garage is a big hassle right now and even if I can get the HOA to drill a hole/conduit in the concrete will run me around $1500-2K). Putting at 20A plug a whole lot less.

Thanks

Doug

Congratulations on being in the first week of MY22! BTW, that "in production" status doesn't mean any wrenching is going on. It's more like an accounting entry. If on schedule, wrenching will be within the week of.... January 3rd.

Absent any holds due to part supplies or staff shortages due to current wave of COVID-19, time from built date (not to be confused with build week) to delivery to your dealer averages 7 weeks to Florida. Maybe up to 10 days less if you are closer to Kansas City. These are rough transit estimates; for example some departures from Mexico plant go via ship to Jacksonville, Florida and elsewhere on East coast rather than by rail to Kansas City. Also lots of variables, like availability of truck drivers for the last leg of transit, that can add days or weeks to delivery.
