I want to document my journey in buying the MME because I’ll be picking up my 2022 MME premium AWD ER space white, gray interior soon. I'll probably then disappear for awhile, busy setting up the car, making excuses driving my car or avoiding kiddie duties, and also tracking down my wife’s Taycan CT. This is just my experience so take it with a grain of salt. Here are some things I learned: it appears almost everyone had their build dates pushed back at least 3 times. My interpretation is that comparing to the tracker and VVR, the first build date was the scheduled production week and when the order would be sent to the plant. The second pushback was when window sticker would be generated about a week before. The third pushback was the actual build week. The key times to contact the dealer for me was to get the dealer to accept the online order right away. The second key time to call the dealer is to get VVR and is 2 weeks after the built AND shipped emails, or a couple days after palsapp showed the car delivered, so you can use the rail# on the VVR to start tracking using automated lines for NS, UP or CSX or boat. Their automated lines are in the forum somewhere. Obviously I also contacted my dealer when I found United road was about to pick up my car. United road info can be found in the forum somewhere too. The “in production” on the tracker didn’t really mean anything until I received the built and 2 days later shipped emails. I must admit the feeling of seeing the VIN showing up as pending pickup on the United Road site is very similar to that of the time getting closer to my wife’s due dates for our kids. The batch numbers don’t appear to mean as much as who your dealer is, because dealers are really Ford’s customers and we are dealers’ customers.

I'm able to access United Road, so for anybody not able to register with United Road, I may be able to help out.

9/17 online ordered and website said waiting to be accepted by the dealer. Called dealer right away and was told salesperson responsible not in.
9/18 called dealer again and spoke to another sales then manager and was promised the person responsible will be in next day and will call
9/19 the salesperson called and website showed it accepted by dealer
10/1 converted to 2022
11/1 email received and said scheduled for production 12/20
12/1 tracker showed production moved to 12/27
12/7 tracker said production moved to ⅓
12/27 tracker generated window sticker.
1/15 received built email
1/17 received shipped email
1/28 palsapp showed vehicle delivered to Birmingham MO
1/31 called dealer to get VVR then called Norfolk Southern automated line and found the railcar in Ohio
2/1 NS automated line said arrived in Conway PA
2/2 NS said left Conway PA
⅔ arrived at Enola PA
2/4 arrived at port wilmington DE. United road still showed the car as inactive
2/7 united road showed pending pickup
2/8 united road showed estimated pickup 2/10
2/10 delivered to dealership

My VVR. Once I found out my car was on NS rail, I stopped asking for VVR.

Truthfully, I don't take much stock in those numbers. I found unfortunately we are all at the mercy of dealers (how big of a customer they are to Ford and where they are)...

I'll also update on the kick liftgate once I find out. My wife said if that's missing my MME, she'll never get inside and she will stay with her MB GL until her taycan CT arrives ... (I'm not complaining. That means kids will not ride in my car. haha)

Thank you. This tells us what build groups had some cars completed and shipped and other build groups are delayed. My car is build group 3565 51/300 and it has been "built" since 1/15...but is waiting for chips. Now (reportedly) scheduled for 6/9 delivery.

My sales just confirmed that the car has indeed been delivered to them. I really feel bad for everyone, who's still waiting for theirs. The only pattern I can see so far is I think almost everyone who is about to pick up their car is from Virginia. so weird... I know they've sold 2 2022 before me and there was one other 2022 delivered this morning, so 4 total at my dealership.
