Depressing....... I also got the email moving me back to the May timeframe 2 days after the built email. later, however under my ford.com account it shows the ETA of April 6-12 delivery. Who knows anymore.... But it is so depressing to see later build dates get ship notification. I thought we kept our order when they did a rollover....
I'm getting tired of this. The worst part is we've got no control or say into any of it, and on a larger view Ford and the dealerships don't care because the vehicle will still get sold eventually. Probably for a lot more money if it's not to us.

The dealer told me today that the vehicle is built but still on chip hold, even though I received the built email on 3/3. Therefore, I am taking both the dealer's status and the built email with a grain of salt, especially since it's the norm to ship the car out within a couple days. I also have had the FordPass activation pending for the past month, and it has not been denied since February, so most likely nobody has touched the car since February. I'm going to call Ford Marketing and see what they say, but I'd like to hear what y'alls dealers have to say about your vehicle status even though we have the built email...

I'm just jealous of anyone that gets any attention at all from Ford....even if it is a built-not-built email. ? I think my car has been abandoned. There sure are a lot of folks in the later build weeks getting shipment dates and cars delivered.

I just wish someone would be straight with us. Built, chip hold, built, waiting for shipping. just tell us. I don't know how Ford Marketing can help. They are just reading a single line of VVR, I asked one to pull a full history and she said that is all the information I have. Same with online chat. Is it time to do mass Twitter???

So I received the e-Mail that the car was built (again) on 3/14/22 but no shipping info yet. The E-Mail indicated the ETD was still 5/22-5/28 which is the same as when they moved us the 90 days in January. The Ford account also show the built date as 3/14 but ETD of 4/20 - 4/26. So who knows which one is correct...

I can say it takes at least a month after the ship status changes for your car to arrive. So, if the ship status isn't updated then the dates Ford gives you are arbitrary.

Ford says I'm awaiting shipment. That's all they've got for me right now. At least it's no longer offsite or on chip hold. Still...I tried to activate via Ford Pass about three weeks ago and no one has denied the request yet, so it makes me wonder if they've really actually even looked at the vehicle. Let alone finished the build on it and really gotten it ready to ship. Been over a week since I got the "it's built" email and nothing else. A lot of the build weeks after have been getting built/shipped back to back.

Well I still sit on in production purgatory in the tracker but the new wrinkle is that for weeks now the car has been listed on the dealer website as coming soon, but suddenly it has disappeared from there. I emailed them early this morning to ask if that meant anything bad and I’m waiting to hear back. I haven’t really talked to the dealer much because it seems like they have zero control over anything and any report they can pull doesn’t really do anything to help speed things along. But now I’d at least like for them to confirm that the order still exists.

I called to talk to my dealer today.. UGH He said great you have a car coming. When I asked for details he showed me a VVR report from 2 WEEKS AGO. No shipping information nothing. No rail. I have no idea if my car is really going to show up between April 6-12...
I'm with you. so frustrating....

I'm in the same boat. I just called Ford Customer Care and they told me my car is built but waiting on shipping. Production date 1/06/22, chip hold, built 3/07/22. They estimate delivery on 4/25/22 but I don't trust that estimate at all.

My concern is the data he read me was as of March 2. Does anyone know how often VVR is updated or does dealer/marketing have to submit a request????

I learned a few things today that I thought I'd pass on to you all.

My Mach-E was built 1/4/22 and arrived Kansas 1/18. It sat there until about 2 weeks ago, when it was shipped and arrived in Portland, OR (final destination is Newberg, OR). It arrived 3/4 and I've been watching daily while shipment after shipment of other vehicles gets delivered. Yesterday it was changed to "On Hold" and the dealer was as flummoxed as I....so this morning I called United Road myself and luckily got a super nice guy who gave me info.....although he said they normally don't speak directly to the end customer.
He said "On Hold" in their system means that there is a problem with the vehicle that prevents them from delivering it. It can be a number of things so he looked mine up and found that they could not get it started and, believe it or not, they don't have an EV charger at the yard so they have to wait for repair to come (they report it to Ford and Ford schedules repair) to get it charged. He said they have ZERO control over the repair process and he could give no detail on the ETA.
Meanwhile, I sold my car mid February and have been borrowing cars from friends and relatives ever since. Those favors are running out and I'm at wits end.
Mostly, I just hope this isn't a harbinger of problems to come with this car!!!!
Pray for me! LOL!!!!

Received the Built email today and it's updated on my Ford owner's page (but not the shop.ford tracking site). Supposedly a 4/25–5/1 delivery, as opposed to the delayed 5/25–5/31 estimate. Fingers crossed for the SF Bay area.

From "shipped" to arrival at my Bay Area dealer was 36 days. Longest part was the KC-Bay Area stretch. Assuming it ships within a couple of days that seems like an accurate window... although I imagine there are wildcard factors that can slow it down or speed it up.
