There are several threads on this from last week. Picture in that article is from April 28th of last year, in Norway... Clickbait.
That's good! The article said "Ford plans to suspend production at three assembly plants in Michigan, Illinois and Mexico throughout the week beginning February 7 because of chip supply constraints" so I thought this was new information ?‍There are several threads on this from last week. It's 8 plants, suspended or dramatically cut back, and posted last week here. That's good! I think the suspension/delays of new builds is probably/hopefully good news for those whose vehicles have been chip-delayed.
You seem to have the best grasp on this palsapp nonsense. Trying to figure out if my car is ever going to leave KC (delivered on 2/4). Using some of what you did, I see that there were 8 other MMEs with the same "Trip #" as me. Does anyone know how long it takes to leave KC? My estimated delivery date is 3/6-3/12. Trying to see how likely that is as I have to sell my current car first and want to sell it as close to delivery as possible.Eight other Mustangs were delivered to the Argentine Ramp on the same trip number. Most are Premium AWDs, extended range, and all are headed west (CA, NV AZ, and WA). Several different batch numbers, etc. None of this surprises me, but it's interesting nevertheless.
And, curiosity gets the better of me and I find that there were at least two more railcars loaded with Mustangs recorded as delivered to the Argentine Ramp today. I don't really want to dig too much more.
[updated]
Three more railcars. So far, 36 Mustang Mach-Es have been recorded as having arrived at the Argentine Ramp today.
[updated a few minutes later...]
And now the Muncie Ramp is being populated with more Mustang Mach-Es.
Is that for orders or in stock inventory? Which dealer? You can DM me if you don't want to say it publicly. Thanksas we are one of the only dealers in all of DFW not charging ADM.
I have had trouble with figuring out what happens next unless the Jack Cooper shippers are also moving the vehicle from KC.You seem to have the best grasp on this palsapp nonsense. Ah gotcha. So there is no reason for me to keep checking palsapp. It shows delivered and since I am in Los Angeles, likely UP will take over from there? My dealer has not been super responsive. I asked for the VVR but he skated around the question and told me that we know when it will be here (the estimated delivery date from Ford).I have had trouble with figuring out what happens next unless the Jack Cooper shippers are also moving the vehicle from KC.
Most of what I've been able to gather is that if the vehicle is heading to east of the Mississippi, there's one rail system that will move the vehicle. If it's heading west, another (Union Pacific) will move the vehicle. The issue is that neither of these transportation companies have online tracking available to the general public.
At this point, I believe you have to call your dealer and ask for a Vehicle Visibility Report (VVR). Once you have that, there's a series of steps identified in a stickied post in the tracking forum. I don't have that link at-hand, but will post it here this evening.
It's for all sales. I'll DM you just to keep anonymity of my previous posts. Hopefully future ones won't be negative haha.Is that for orders or in stock inventory? Which dealer? You can DM me if you don't want to say it publicly. Thanks
Dang it, what do I check every day then?!?!?! I have 9 vehicles in my trip number.Ah gotcha.
