Just coming over from the 4/11 build week. my GT has been "in production" going on 7 weeks now. Most of our non-GTs have long since shipped, but anything GT post 4/4 build week is a complete toss up whether it will be shipped out or just sit on the lot. They've driven it around the lot a few days in a row now and even charged it for 30 minutes for some reason yesterday according to fordpass. Still no news whatsoever and it looks like subsequent build weeks are getting held up too.

Had my dealer check the status of my car (6103 batch), and his report still says “in production” as of 5/27 and status is listed as “trim line”. I asked if it could be on chip hold and he said it’s not showing any hold on his end but he should get an update on Monday if it is. He said anything’s possible.

I just asked my dealer for an update since I’ve had no movement since it started being built on the 27th, and they said it was built and due in to them early July (Gwinnett Place Ford). Asked for a rail car number and will update if they have one, as it’s weird the website doesn’t show built.

*Update* shipping info hasn’t published yet. Said sometimes they ship rail and sometimes vessel, and if it’s on a ship it’s harder to track. Never heard of anything shipping cease before to Georgia, thought it was all rail and then truck. Anyone else heard of that?

Same here...still shows "In Production" However when I called Ford, they show it's built but not released for shipment yet. No sure why it's not marked as built then....

Vessel??? I think not. To get to Georgia they come by train and then truck transport. At least that's how my first two MME's were transported to Alpharetta, GA.

I wonder what trim line means... I'll continue to think that our cars are half-assembled on the factory floor. Here's hoping for some time this coming week... I think it'll happen.

Nice to know I’m not the only one being told it’s built but the website doesn’t reflect its. Hope it’s true!

That makes three of us. Just doesn't make any sense if none of our modules are connected, none of the trackers are updating, etc. My only other guess is that everything is still running normally but all the tracking systems have been down this week? I hope our dealers are right and everything is still progressing.

My modules populated but that’s all that happened, no other movement since then and I think that was around 5pm on the 27th

Ah interesting, so yours is actually built and mine is probably still sitting in pieces somewhere in the factory then.

I’m not convinced it’s actually built, really kinda worried it’s got some sort of chip hold

Guys and gals, as someone who has taken delivery of two MMEs, I can tell you this: 1) The Ford tracker is very unreliable. Don't trust it. 2) Your dealership has little, if any, viable information on the status of your car. 3) The best indication of the car's status will be when it is offloaded from the first train and put on a truck in Kansas City (for East Coast deliveries) to transfer to the second train. 4) The chip shortage still persists, but you will not know if it is affecting your delivery or not. 5) Think of it as a surprise birthday gift. You'll never know for sure when you'll get your car until it shows up at the dealer. Don't sweat it. 6) (bonus advice) Run, do not walk, to your dealer to pick up your car once it arrives. Some dealers have been known to sell the car out from underneath you if you wait more than a day or two to pick it up. 7) I want my darn new 2022 MME! Oops. ;)
