Maybe random QE road test? I read a guy who activated his car in fordpass than could se a total of 22 miles driven through a few days, than another who had a nite in his car explaining the random process.
I'm in the 5/30 week and the online tracker says it's built as of yesterday (do they work Saturdays?). No email or shipping notification yet though.

My car shows 14 miles so far....My guess they are doing some tests....

They will probably have your car "In Transit" sometime next week...It's a painfully slow process

My car is still in limbo after being built on 6/15. "Activate Vehicle" doesn't work in the FordPass app, so (like some of you) I can't see any miles driven. This morning the Ford site tracking stopped working. And my car is estimated to be delivered in California around 8/12. Maybe they plan to send it to Hawaii for a holiday with Reign of Ravens' car before delivering it to me.

It breaks on a daily basis. It works about 50% of the time.

First step is to determine how it is coming - you can do this by looking at your sticker - most likely it will say RAIL. Then you use Ford Chat and give them your VIN and ask them if they can provide your rail car number. Next steps depends on what they tell you.

Example: Ford chat told me my rail car is KCS008136 which is Kansas City Southern. I called the nice KCS people and the guy said that rail car would reach Laredo this weekend and then get into the IFG in Kansas City sometime after which is a main hub. After that I will need to contact Ford Chat again to see how it is getting to Virginia - rail or truck. Then I can stalk it other ways

Sorry to hear this. I have the same build date and batch, but show clear on both Ford and NHTSA sites for being on the recall. My Premium ER AWD is 49 / 305 in that batch.

I was getting worried that the causes for my obsessive behavior were running out. Thank you for "easing" my worries. ??

I went into production on 4/20 and was built 6/17.

I just checked. Looks like I'm good... I was In Production since 5/27 but the built date was a couple weeks afterwards

On Ford's ETIS site and the NHTSA site, yes. However, being that the GTs from our week seemed to have been completed this past week (while the non-GTs were built and shipped weeks ago), it is possible the reporting of our VINs was simply proactive. There has to be a reason why we were "built" this week right AFTER the Ford recall announcement. And there has to be a reason why my car was driven about 20 miles around the factory this past week before being deemed "built." Did the GTs receive the unconfirmed new part rather than just the software patch? Was it undergoing extensive testing with the alleged new part? No idea. But that is a theory. Or they could have been sending the interns to the Krispy Kreme around the corner from the plant on daily doughnut runs.
