Mine arrived at the dealer late yesterday--the day after Ford's online system pushed delivery to next week. It passed recall inspection this morning, and I am picking it up tomorrow afternoon!

Trying to not get too excited, but the dealer reached out and said the vehicle has been fixed. Ford will not provide an ETA to them but they figure three weeks or so. Fingers crossed we have no more incidents along the way and the railroad strike doesn’t impact the delivery.

Before I saw the email, I figured out it took Ford 142 days from order to ship the vehicle (which is fairly quick compared to many others) and I just need them to deliver it within 157 days to get my tax credits and VLT reduction. I’ve been a little worried, but now that I’ve been repaired we should be back on track.

The only other unknown is the half shaft recall. VIN is a part of it but it’s unknown if the S/N is one of the bad ones.

Thank you! I will have to take better pictures tomorrow, but I'm really glad I went with the space gray. In the little bit of time I have had to drive it today, I love this car. Can't wait for all of you to get your chance, too!

Took possession of mine on Thursday. I ended up having to argue with the dealership with price protection and it was a bad experience, they let me have it in the end but informed me they stopped doing price protection a few months ago so they were “doing me a favor” and want me to rate them 5 stars in return.

Glad you got your ride and price protection. I don’t think that’s true and I wouldn’t give them five stars.

nice color!! It’s been 305 days since we ordered. Still just sitting at the rail yard 20 miles away.

You should give them the 5 stars. You made an agreement. Regardless how bad the experience was.
