I had a post written a bout the general shipped date and delivery range, and how a 1 mo time seemed long, even considering constraints - but just assuming the dates on the ETA there, it was "shipped" Jul 28- but expected to sit there until 9-1 and then get going.

I think with that info, you can use some of the linked rail info to track it. I think you have to call and use their automated system- I pass the warning of, "do not talk to a live operator, if it ever says xfering to live -hangup" because- we are using this system as "consumers" and that's not what its meant for and it could tick someone off where they restrict access more... or something I assume.

I'll try calling later on and see what other info is given. I really don't think it should take that long. Hopefully it moves quicker and they don't just leave the car sitting there for a couple of weeks for no reason.

This would be a "screen grab" from Ford VVR (Vehicle Visibility Report) that is accessible by Ford dealers. Apparently, some dealers won't look, some will look but not share, some will share, and as in your case give all info to the end user. BTW, Lecheria is the Kansas City Southern rail ramp near the Cuautitlan factory, next "checkpoint"... Laredo border crossing. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, it is good to be hopeful. (I am trying to spend more time in other threads than the "grumpy" thread where I hung out for several months. )
Let's be hopeful that your MME will be transferred to a truck with an available driver for expeditious movement to your Texas dealer. Otherwise, it's probably going to Kansas City for transfer to a truck or other rail line to go back to Texas. (For Californios, BNSF is extending into August their embargo of auto carrier trains due to clogged railyard/lines in Barstow. Also, threatened BNSF rail strike in forced cooling off period until middle September, when my MME unit is scheduled for production. )

Hopefully, the BNSF embargo will be ended and the strike negotiators will come to agreement by September. Those being delivered to left coast in July/August may be coming by truck. See your window sticker or try dealer check of VVR. Trucking, apparently plagued by shortage of drivers, but regional applicability is uncertain. There is little "data" on the difference between "convoy" and "rail".

Anyone have their dealership reach out yet? I want to see what they say regarding financing, ADM, x-plan, etc. We’re going to pay cash, but if the Options plan isn’t too big a hassle and if the incentives are good, we might try it and pay it off in a few months.

Had mine reach out today but they didn't really know anything I didn't already know from the tracker(s) regarding ETA.

Salesman didn't know anything about Ford Options but said they have no problem with Ford financing and would talk to finance person about Ford options so it sounds like they won't try and give me BS. Hoping there won't be any issues/runaround because when I placed my order it was 2.49% APR and $2500 incentive for using the Ford Options.

No ADM, was told MSRP via email and also have a signed invoice for MSRP.

My first communication via email also stated that they didn't think there was an X-Plan for the Mach E but if there was they would honor it so there's that (current X-Plan does show some savings).

Hmmm I hadn’t realized the sticker says convoy. So does it even go by rail to KC anymore then? My other one went by rail to KC and then from there by rail to So Cal

The tracking site, via vin/on, not the email log in "my reservations" for me moves back and forth since I got modulus populated - seems a day or 2 after it settles down and stays consistent.

Mine is RAIL - so I do not think it gets any detailed shipping / tracking info unless I call and bug the dealer... I could be wrong about that...

For a complete timeline:

Scheduled for Production Week of 7/18/22 then pushed to 7/25/22 (corresponded with the battery terminal recall) I forgot when I saw that I even HAD a Production week date given, because I never got an update email. The only email's I got from ford were about the change in range estimation (Feb.March) one I think in April about who knows what, it just said "a change" - no timeline or production info.

Then silence for a few months when I decided to randomly check on my reservation I saw the July date, this was in June sometime - again no email to me telling me I was given a production date.

Then, Tuesday 7/26 late PM I saw the mods populate, no change in "status"
The next day 7/27 some of the tracking sites, and my reservation page listed "built" - no email - estimated delivery range showed up only on "my reservations" tracking page
Last night 7/28 late PM - I got an email indicating it was built and then a separate email 30min later that it was shipped. And estimated delivery date now showing on tracker and my reservations

Tracking sites all now seem to be settled and not changing on refresh/reload as shipped w/ estimated range.

The sites are all a little finicky - seems the most "real time" thing to watch is the activation of the mods. It seems that is a fairly late/last stage process in building the car.

Did the "recall" over the fused battery terminal thing ever get fixed?

Question - Is "activation of the mods" the same thing as seeing the modules show up at https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt/Details or something different - if different what page has the fact that the modules are active?

To my limited knowledge, "convoy" means truck transit from Kansas City rail yard (Kansas City Southern RR transit from Mexico to US.)

Also, Ford VVR, accessed through your dealer, may show passage through KCS checkpoints: Lecheria, Laredo, KC. I think the truck company has no tracking "window", hence the next notice you'd get may be "arrival at dealer".

Join the club, batch 7254 309/660 says my MME has been in production since 7/29 with no updates. Modules have shown up but no further info.

I am getting concerned it is not going to be shipped shortly, since the plant goes into shut down next week.
