How do you guys track BNSF railcars .. I tried calling the customer support number 888-428-2673 and I'm ending up at weird options every time.. Can someone here help..

Ford chat said my car is at Ramp 6M Argentine.. Railcar BNSF314668.

Built 7/27. Dealer said they ordered the parts but no ETA. Talked to ford customer service and told them about my situation and would escalate it to expedite delivery.
Good to know - my build date was 8/13 so hopefully this was addressed before shipping.
My vehicle is now "shipped" - no email from ford but happened to check the status.
Sent email to dealership last night for update.

My vehicle is now "shipped" - no email from ford but happened to check the status.

From my understanding the recall for half shaft is mostly made in week of 7 25 cars

Ford recall is not showing via Vin, but the nhs or whatever site Vin search seems more accurate

I am hopeful that is arrived at the Mira Loma Depot yesterday. As of this morning when I called UP for tracing information it is now saying...

"Empty. Central call control 9/12 6:50 pm, scheduled pick up Mira Loma, CA 9/12 6:47 pm origin ramp Mira Loma, CA"



Lets hope that means it is in Mira Loma and just waiting to be trucked the couple miles to the dealership.

Does anyone know how to track Convoy? This is what I just received from Ford Chat.

“Your Mustang Mach-E is shipping via Convoy number 1362608866.”

I did a google search and don’t see a quick tracking feature without having some sort of convoy account Access.

Mine was the week of 7/25 - but build was not completed till after the 2 week shutdown.

Got an update on my car today. Railcar is apparently moving through Barstow CA and according to Ford left Ramp 6M on Sept 6th. Fingers crossed it gets on a truck soon.

Yup that's the site lol

Mine does show recall there via Vin and my build date was 7 26 or 27. Your getting delayed or not completed until then most likely put it out of that week range for built that need to be checked

Looks like our cars have officially split as mine is traveling via BNSF rather than UP.

Hi Steph,

So mine is being shipped with BNSF (#BNSF314668) but as you suggested I called UP but it didnt work
Here is the prompt options I selected

1. Trace Billing Ramp storage or reservation --- Trace
2. Number of equipment's --- 1
3. equipment ID numbers -- 314668

and it tells me equipment IDs associated with this number and asks me to select one.

I'm pretty sure I did something wrong. Could you please help
