I have been checking Palsapp using the developer mode hack. When I do that, I get the following:
Origin: KC
Destination Name: Null
Status: Pending

I thought that meant that the vehicle was not in the system yet (not shipped) but maybe I have that wrong?
It means it has not yet arrived in KC and or ready to be moved. Mine stated the same thing until they shuffled it from KC MO to KC KS.

Adding my data for those obsessed with tracking:

Premium AWD ER, rapid red w/black onyx interior
Ordered on 8-3-21 (but order page said ordered on 9-27-21?)
Email confirmation of conversion to 2022 on 10-21-21
Email notification with production week of Jan 17 rec'd on 11-4-21
Window sticker date 01-14-2022, 003769 265/606 (window sticker updated 6 times total with no changes except the date)
First estimated delivery showed as 02/16/2022
Built 2/10
Shipped 2/14
New delivery estimate 3/4 to 3/10
Email 3/4 with delivery updated to 5/21-5/27
Plot Twist: we bought an EV6 on 3/10 at MSRP with no funny business
DOUBLE PLOT TWIST: Ford salesman texted me 3/11 that the Mustang arrived!!

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We would have been very happy with the Mustang if we had gotten it before we saw the EV6, but after seeing that car we realized it was a better fit for us anyway. So we think it all worked out.

The dealership is Ed Kenley Ford in Layton, UT. I just told them this afternoon that we aren't taking the car. So maybe one of you can jump on it.

Good luck :)

Congrats! Did your dealer honor Price Protection?
They did not. I explicitly asked for it and even talked directly to the sales manager, explained how it is supposed to work. He said there's no such a thing and in his 25 years of career he has never seen Ford sending a reimbursement check after the sale is final. They honored x-plan on the 2022 MSRP though.

That is too bad. In 45 days or less they will be receiving the credit assuming you were the person who made the original order.

I know, but IMO that's more of a @FordMotorCompany's fault than the dealerships'. Ford could credit the customers directly just like the $750 for the model year conversion. The reimbursement process is so obscure and was never communicated to the customers through Ford, so I understand why some dealerships refuse to honor it.

Spent the afternoon yesterday at my local Ford Dealer, test drove a new Maverick Hybrid and I was very impressed. While not a pure electric its the next best thing and no range anxiety.
And no I did not buy it even though it was for sale with a 5k adm (sales maner would waive that) and at just under 34k it was very tempting.
While there I also verified my MME pricing and wanted to check on either Ford Options rate or other financing rates ever since the Federal reserve raised interest rates.
So far Ford regular financing was the best deal right now at .9% but I will be paying cash anyway.
While trying to run a VVR on my car it kept coming back vin not foundo_O
but he explained that normally happens on Saturdays when the factories are re-organizing for another build week. (mine is built awaiting shipping)

Its been a long 42 week journey so far and I'm hoping my wait is over sooner than later.

Good to hear about the financing option. Thanks for that. I would be happy with that rate and will probably go with that assuming that is an option for me when my car finally arrives...

I just called the Order Status number I have for Ford. I explained that I ordered the Mach E on April 27, 2021 and many that have ordered their cars after are receiving them. Basically she said that they do are not aware of how the chips are being put into the vehicles. I take this to mean there is no rhyme nor reason. She went on to say that my car has been released waiting to be shipped. She said there is a delivery date of 4/14. I will believe that when I see it. If it holds, it will mean that I have waited 2 weeks short of a year to receive this vehicle. I ordered a premium ER. We live in SW Florida and ordered from a large dealer. It does seem that the cars are starting to be delivered but I sure think that Ford Motor had no game plan on all of this. Too bad for such a great car. Good luck to everyone as things start to move forward.

I just had the exact same conversation about an hour ago. Super frustrating. She told me that the dealer has access to more information than they do. The main phone number appears to reach a marketing team that has zero insights into the process and no influence whatsoever. I asked how to log a formal complaint about their insanely stupid and unfair process (eg later build dates with identical configurations receiving their vehicles before ours have shipped) and she recommended I go through the dealer...

This car better be f'ing amazing. I have owned nothing but Acuras and Hondas for the last 35 years and have been a very loyal customer until now. The only reason I considered Ford is because Honda/Acura are moving too slow on EV's, I don't trust Tesla, I need another car now (two teenage kids driving now), and I can't see buying an ICE vehicle to keep for 10 years. My last experience with Ford was when I was a teenager and that car was the biggest POS you can imagine. Just before it croaked, I was feeding it a quart of oil every few weeks and it blew a huge cloud of smoke out of the tailpipe every time I shifted into second gear - with only 28K miles on it. I stopped traffic at intersections routinely because they thought my car was on fire and I am pretty sure I nearly asphyxiated pedestrians on multiple occasions. This was Ford's second chance more than 30 years later and it's not going so well...

Ugh

Just checked in with my dealer. GTPE built and waiting for shipment on 3/5. Dealer gave me a screenshot showing it still sitting on:

Ramp 5E, Santa Rita, VL

The heck. It's been "awaiting shipment" for 22 days now  . Delivery window is still 3/30 to 4/5....so I don't think that's going to happen.

I feel your pain. Mine's been "built" since 2/25. Nada since then. My delivery ETA is still 3/25-3/31 LOL.

I have been lurking on the 1/3 and 1/10 build week chats and there seems to have been some movement to shipped status there. It could also be wishful thinking on my part. Maybe that means that they are squeezing the chip hold orders in between the orders that had all the parts on the production line when assembly began...

It also occurred to me that Ford is a slave to Wall Street just like every other public company and the margins are lower for those of us that have older orders. Would Ford prioritize the flow of higher margin orders in order to goose its margins? I think so. Also, it is in Ford's best interest to extend the tax credit as long as possible and maybe ensure that some of the Lightening orders actually get the credit so there could be some gamesmanship there too (at our expense). Of course, the whole logisitics supply chain is probably F'ed too so there's that.

This sucks.

Mine too… Dealership says it’s been released to the shipping company and awaiting shipment on that same ramp in Mexico. Estimated delivery window is still 3/27-4/2. I have a feeling it’s gonna be late.
