Just curious, where did you see this? I was beginning to lose hope after hearing the troubles from other Bay Area folks but I talked to my rep at WC and he mentioned the car was in SoCal and due to be delivered on 12/17. I'm in 9259, wonder if mine is one of them in Richmond now.
I received a small shipping delay notification from Ford of three days. Was 12/9 - 12/15 and was changed to 12/12 - 12/18. BNSF railcar arrived Barstow CA and is making its way to San Diego. From Albuquerque to Barstow in less than two days.Received an email from Ford stating that my order has an update. Naturally based on all the comments here about revised ETAs I expected the worst, but my ETA remained the same and I noticed to visible changes to my status.
So I reached out to FC and my MME is finally being shipped via Jack Cooper convoy to Argentine, KS. It has been in MO without movement for over 2 weeks.
If it continues at that rate, hopefully it will be delivered in the next few days.
Does anyone know why the SoCal vehicles from batch 9217 are stuck at Richard-gebaur, MO ? Did the rail car or shipment get damaged and hence no movement? It would be good for Ford or someone to investigate and shed some light on this, now that the other batches like 9259 are moving what's happening with us in the old batch
well i went back and looked and it seems that it's almost an even split between 9217 and 9259, but there are a few more 9259 cars. so i don't think 9217 is completely stuck.Does anyone know why the SoCal vehicles from batch 9217 are stuck at Richard-gebaur, MO ? I would not trust that info. I have that same info from Ford Chat. However the dealer has other systems. As of Friday afternoon, my car was in Fresno, CA on its way to Richmond, CA. So the dealers have access to the latest info. Mine was from the same batch, and I just got my MachE today. However, mine was not in MO, or at least I didn't know. I initially was told that I would get it on Dec 18th, and then it changed to Dec 15th a few days ago. The route was Lacehria, EM on Nov 18th and then 24th in Laredo TX. After that, I have not heard anything until yesterday that the car was delivered. Congratulations, it seems vehicles transiting through Laredo, TX are reaching their SoCal/NorCal destination....or may be I was put on the wrong train to Kansas City, MO !
for sure some bay area deliveries have gone thru KC, others this southern route. from reading this forum for a while it seems to me that the default route for all MME deliveries has always been thru Kansas City.
May be KC is overwhelmed by all these MME deliveries and hence we are not getting any updates, anyways my ETA still shows as 12/17 so seems this week I will get my MME
