……and that’s when I’ll change mine👍
That would be great if reliable, but this issue has left enough people stranded that it appears to be somewhat spotty whether or not you'll get the warning in time.

🤷🏼‍♂️

Can only speak as I find.

You never fully know what people are doing to make this unreliable and you only have their edited accounts of what they want you to believe happened.

Am happy to rely on a car that nobody messes about with in terms of battery management, external charging, “conditioning” etc.

I’ve no appetite to just change components because they “might” fail with no evidence failure is likely at a notional service interval or at all.

I occasionally test the LVB and if it’s fine then it lives to fight another day.

In the same way I was wrestling in my mind with whether the transmission whine I thought developed since new was really developing or I was just imagining it worsening; had the transmission oil analysed several times over last 30,000 miles before & after an oil change finding the lack of evidence of particulate wear or any other tangible symptoms of wear or impending failure put my mind at rest the transmission won’t be letting me down anytime soon so won’t need to be putting in place transmission servicing, repairs or replacement for the foreseeable.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix or f**k about with it is my guiding principle.
