1430/14-30 plug

Hello,
Looking to stay at a Tru hotel but it only has a 14-30 plug. Granted way better than a 120v but it wouldn't work with the ford mobile charger we have.

Can we use a 14-50 to 14-30 adapter? I fear we will trip the breaker,. Can we somehow limit the ford mobile charger to pull less than 30Amps? Think it pulls up to 32 Amp according to the spec.

You are correct that it will trip the breaker. There is a EVSE supply out there that has the ability to use 6 different plugs and auto adjust to each supply. I just can't remember the name at the moment.

That 14-30 is a 30 AMP circuit which is not enough where 14-50 is 50 AMP
