For your charging percentage question, you have to save a location either in the sync menu of the car or in Fordpass. You can find that under the charge settings. After you save the location, then you can set what percentage you want to charge to at that location.

For the software version, I believe you can only see what version of Sync you have and it is buried somewhere in the settings menu of the car. If you have received a recent OTA, you can see what you received under "software updates" in the sync menu or in your Fordpass app. That will disappear after 90 days I believe or it will be updated with your next OTA if that happens before 90 days.

The short answer is you can't.
More at https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/a-guide-to-understanding-ota-updates.13111/
However, you can find out what software updates have come out here:

If you want to charge to 90% when at home, your best bet is to set up a home location within the Charging app in the car.

Also, any time you click "Start" from the charging menu in Fordpass, it thinks you want to charge to 100%. If you set up a Home, and create a charging schedule, it will charge the way you want.

And if you click "Stop", that's a PAUSE. It will restart at some point...

It's likely that your car hasn't had any OTA updates available to it in the last couple of months. There was a flurry of OTA updates that came out last year, most of which were in preparation for, and deploying BlueCruise 1.3 to older cars, but your car would already have that. OTA updates don't come on any kind of schedule. When a module update is approved for your car, it will get sent to your car (at some point) automatically.

Also, you shouldn't think of your car as being like a computer with a specific operating system "version". The software updates are going to be for individual modules of your car's system, and with all of the different hardware changes through the different model years, some cars will get updates that others don't need or already have. So there is no overall "version" of the car's software that you can point at and say, "oh, my car is running version 2.7"...

Watching this forum can be useful for knowing when new module updates come out, because people will post about them. And there are some very knowledgeable folks here who will help you understand what each update actually changes, since Ford's communication about the updates is usually pretty generic and not very useful.

Finally, the other thing that you can do if you really want is to go to this thread and ask if someone with FDRS would be so kind as to look up your VIN and see if there are actually any outstanding updates for your car. https://www.macheforum.com/site/thr...are-willing-to-look-up-info-for-others.10230/ There are occasional times where certain cars have gotten stuck on a failed update, and will refuse to do any OTA updates. But again, it's likely that your car isn't in need of anything at the moment. (My '23 hasn't had an OTA update since September)

The battery will also be a bit happier if you don't let it go much below 50% before charging again, unless of course you are road tripping. I charge every day, plugging in as soon as I get home, even if I'm only going from 75% to 80%. But if most of your driving is shorter trips around town, there is no need to wait for a low state of charge before charging it again.
