2022 Glitches??

My wife and I just got our New 2022 Mach E premium extended range that we ordered on August 8th and got to the dealer Feb 18. We live in South Florida. For everyone wanting to know the wait time we experienced.

We are very excited about the car so far the only problem is that we don’t know why it keeps happening is the options we select change after our trip is completed and they come back on/off on the next trip. For example the don’t forget a rear occupant. We don’t have children but we have switched it to off at least 4 times and other options in the safety side. Maybe there are some glitches to resolve. I will see if it just goes away after a while.

Has anyone else have options selected revert back some of the times?

Last night thou were going thru all the options and I came across Auto Regeneration option I thought to my self that this must not mean what I think it does. So I pushed the info button for more information.

the conditions are met”

My wife said should we turn it on?
I said don’t turn it on it could blow the flux capacitor!!!! she said it sounds expensive why would they put it as a option, I told her a couple thousand dollars minimum to fix but my friend doc brown fixes them on the side. Lol

Is this a error as a option on the Mach E or is the further information wrong with its discretion or does it really have DPF FILTER and I am I just idiot husband that has no idea of what I am talking about? What would happen if I do turn it on???

Who is your dealer? Curious cause I ordered on August 5 from Metro Ford. What color is your car, RWD or AWD? Just wondering what Ford' delivery system is. I keep seeing a Black MME on Miami Beach... Is that you?

That’s one that stayed off for me after I turned it off.

Any other new owners have this Auto Regeneration option that @Esteban described?

I haven't heard of it before. Maybe the "as built" configuration data is incorrect in his vehicle. A few others here have reported that their as built data had to be corrected after delivery.

The article cited along with the owners manual states you can disable this warning. The OM states the vehicle will send out a reminder every 6 months to see if you still want it off. A system reset also defaults to on. I also wonder if the owner may have saved a profile that included this as on but I do not know what items are all configured in a profile. Bottom line is it can be disabled and there is something going on that it keeps going back on after you switch it off.
