We were considering upgrading our 2022 to a 2025 so I went to sit in one and see the differences in the dashboard, etc. Much to my surprise the driver's side leg room was less on the 25 and on our 22. As I'm 6'4" w/34" inseam this was a deal breaker. I mentioned this to our SA whom we had bought our 22 and he was surprised to hear it. It's a deal killer for me.

So if you're considering an upgrade and are tall you might want to check out the legroom on the driver's side.

Good to know! I have the same measurements, my 23 MME-PE fits me great. Did the loss of legroom go to the heat pump/ loss of front truck area?

No idea why the legroom is less on the '25s.

gotta fit the heat pump somewhere but the specs tell a different story (more legroom in 2025 vs 2022)

2022 Front head room, 40.5 in. Front leg room, 41.7 in. Front shoulder room, 57.6 in.
2025 Front Head Room 38.9 in. Front Leg Room, 43.3 in Front Shoulder Room , 57.6 in.

Reid, perhaps the seat wouldn't go back as far? (And maybe it was faulty?) As sukhoi says, hard to imagine they would move the firewall, but maybe they did it as part of the heat pump change.

@Coffs, what's the source of the specs you quoted? I looked on Car &Driver and they show front legroom unchanged between model years. As for headroom differences, I suspect that difference is whether or not the car was a pano roof.

Published specs for the Front leg room, Front headroom are identical for the 2024 and the 2025. So the 2025 heat pump has not intruded into the passenger space just the frunk.

Yeah, 1.6" can make a difference when length is needed. Thanks for looking up the specs.

Was it head room or leg room that got you? Leg room *increased* by 1.5" on 25, where headroom decreased.... ( the way it was written got me too )

It was the legroom that I was referring to and was a "deal killer."

Additional small changes observed on US version of 2025 model year (compared to my US 2021):
- door actuators are ONLY on rear doors, no longer on front doors.
- external "lock icon" button ONLY found on the driver's door pillar, no longer all four doors.
- no under-car tow hook holes provided under front of vehicle, no longer two holes at front toward each wheel. US version never had any on the back of the vehicle, still does not.
- Tow eye provided, for threaded tow hole in bumper, behind "jump wire" panel (apparently also found in some 2024 model year vehicles).
- FordPass app now permits you to adjust the EVSE maximum amperage for home charging.

My wife tells me 1.6" would make all the difference.
Are you telling us you're equivalent to a 2022 or a 2025 Mach-E?

The front door poppers were removed in 2024. In 2023 they removed the second liftgate button (the one on the left side). There are a ton of other minor changes like the removal of liftgate Kick to Open hardware, removal of the front 360 camera washer, etc. 🤔🐩

The second liftgate button? The left side of what?
