I agree looks like a service nightmare.

No pictures of the redesigned frunk though. I'd like to see how much space is lost. We never got around to fully utilizing the space. We mostly use ours to bring take-out back our house and ice as a gimmick.

The frunk size has been covered elsewhere. It’s more shallow because of the slanted condenser coil. It should still fit a backpack or two.

I missed earlier threads talking about the smaller frunk and wow that is a huge reduction in space. Might as well insulate it for a cold six pack with ice...

Tesla does not have a resistive heater. You don't need it. You can generate heat from the motors if you need more

Heat Pumps are great while they are working but when they break it is going to be a very difficult problem for Ford service to resolve. And they will break...

Great write up. I’d be happier with a slightly larger electric heater. But so many have sworn the heat pump will be their lords and savior of winter range, maybe this will get them to buy in.

Lived with Teslas with the heat pump and loved it. Worked well in Virginia winters without draining the batteries like our Chevy Bolts, MachE and Lightning. If I hadn't gotten awesome deals on my 2023 Lightning and 2024 MachE, I would have preferred the heat pump.
