I haven't noticed that but that would be annoying for sure. I do experience a brief cutout in streamed (bluetooth from my phone) audio when messing with the Sync interface, though it does seem to have got better since I first got the car (in addition to OTA updates to the car I wonder if updates to my phone could have played a role in this improvement?)I assume they're trying to fix the random crackling from phone calls? I'd like to progress my car past 6.2 in 2024 if possible, without FDRS..
Sounds system works fine the 12V BMS update or any of the 25 I have not received would be good at this stage. They feed them to the select few to make it look like something is happening when in reality some have been stuck of 4.2 for years and other like me on 6.4 since before Christmas. After 3+ years OTA is still a joke. A story of the have and the have not. Those that had a bad HVJB get nothing those that had it replaced for no reason get parting gifts.Another update I will never get.
Exactly right re "They feed them to the select few to make it look like something is happening when in reality some have been stuck of 4.2 for years and other like me on 6.4 since before Christmas." I've been saying that anyone affected by HVJB should get early access to software updates.Sounds system works fine the 12V BMS update or any of the 25 I have not received would be good at this stage. Or you can disconnect CarPlay and reconnect.Hopefully it will fix this intermittent bug that prevents iPhone audio from playing while using CarPlay. To fix it, I need to turn the car off, open/close the driver’s door, and restart the car. So annoying!
SameJust got this on a 21 Job 1 in EA
Only a month? Buckle up.It’s been over a month. I’d just like to get an update.![]()
Yeah, I’m not holding my breath. I’m getting used to this a little bit every day. I’ve been talking with Mach Lee, under connected services I never had anything under there that I could enable. I never had those up and down arrows on the top of the screen for quite a while so disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes to a half hour didn’t change anything but I did pull fuses 11 and 19 and 21 and 22 while the battery was connected and I have all those options under connectivity and connected services now and I have the up-and-down arrows so I’m hoping that will get things going.Only a month? Buckle up.
No. Updates to the FordPass app on your phone and updates to the car are independent of each other. My question, the over the air updates, is that what gives you the new version of FordPass? I’d like to just have the updated FordPass where you could have some different features?
