It changed my preferred drive mode, had to swap backGot it today. 12V was at 83% and it installed without problem. Of course the radio ended up on the AM band but that’s easily fixed.
If it fails, you may want to go on a 20-30 minute driver and start the update manually as soon as you park so it installs when the LVB is topped off.Good to know. My 12V is at 65% right now and I got a message saying this will be installed at 2:30 AM tomorrow. Hope it goes through but I suppose no rush since my adapter is slated to come in May.
I would honestly say that you can’t really test this update without first getting the adapter to use the Tesla Supercharger. Did this update cause anything unfavourable to the car?Not received, but did get an email from Ford for a survey on this update.

Does this mean that Ford secretly updated my MME without any knowledge ?
Should I answer the questions on the survey and be negative ?
Last update was 2/22/24 for "Smart Changes".

I ordered a 3rd party adapter (Lectron) and waiting for delivery this month.I would honestly say that you can’t really test this update without first getting the adapter to use the Tesla Supercharger. Did this update cause anything unfavourable to the car?
Sounds like your vehicle received and installed the update, but you haven't noticed yet. Go for a drive and check the software updates screen, or look in your FordPass app.I ordered a 3rd party adapter (Lectron) and waiting for delivery this month.
My issue was that I had NOT received the Tesla SC update but the survey from Ford seems to think I did...
Nope, did that and still no joy.Sounds like your vehicle received and installed the update, but you haven't noticed yet. Go for a drive and check the software updates screen, or look in your FordPass app.
LVB low? Maybe leave it on for an hour plugged in with the HVAC fan on. Make sure to turn off the "auto shut off". That's what I did, and I got 3 powerups in 3 days including the Tesla one (last).Nope, did that and still no joy.
Nothing on the Sync nor Ford Pass app...
Sent an email to Ford for clarification.
There is some other stuff that has to happen before it shows up, not just the OTA. Make sure your FordPass app is updated too.I got it tonight - but the Tesla network still doesn't show up in the plug and charge settings![]()
Thanks - to be clear, I can see the SCs on the charging map in fordpass, and I'm on the latest version of the app. It's just the plug and charge settings that don't show the tesla network. I did register my MME with the tesla app - are they working out something on the backend so that if you register with tesla, you won't see the Tesla network in plug and charge? That can't be it - that would require super competent coordination from both partiesThere is some other stuff that has to happen before it shows up, not just the OTA. I did likewise and I'm glad I documented the versions before the license expired. It would be great if this type of information could be included on the wiki page, but not sure if different model years would have the same firmware.Thanks. I applied updates using FDRS on February 22 and it turns out the OBCC update was for the Tesla support.
